Tom, please would you review the restriction on new players access to the forums. They need to be able to read the wealth of help information there as soon as they start. Maybe keep the posting ability restricted but reading is a must. I spend many hours in chat with the newcomers and to be able to refer them to threads would help them get to grips with the game before they give up, as well as helping me... haha.

Thanks for looking at it.

I didn't know the forum was restricted to new members, because when i rejoined five weeks ago I could read the forum after 48 hours, even before i paid my account.

The 48Hrs is what I am talking about Dr.A.
The scenario:- a person finds the game, looks around, and sees that it's quite difficult and confusing. They go to chat and ask the one most un-answerable question: "What do I do now?".
I and the others in chat can't talk them through the whole process, it would take hours, if not days.
On the forums they can find lots of newbie help, all they need to get started, e.g. taking your first C3 (which seems to be the priorty of most newcomers).
So this is why they need access to the forum, otherwise two days waiting is too long for most of them and they are gone to explore the joys of Evony or some other bs game.
