Treasurer (White Giant) | Thursday, October 23, 2008 - 11:22 pm Yes the employment index is arrived at by way of calculating every citizen in the country (Babies, Teenagers, Retired, Disabled are not working and are counted as unemployed) Then it is placed against your actual employed people in your country. (All Military, Teachers, Health care workers are counted as employed) All people who have a job in corporation public or private are employed. All the indexes move slowly. This accounts for momentum. It does not automatically reset to the new value. the index moves toward the new value but doesn't instantly just appear there. Check your disabled and housewives (both are counted towards unemployed). These can be reduced by way of Special Clinics and Back to Work Schools. A "Special Clinic" is actually a converted Hospital. It rehabilitates disabled workers back to the workforce. "Special Clinic's" can be made using the Health Tab. You will find a link to convert a hospital if you choose to. You may convert up to 10 hospitals per game month up to a maximum of 500 special clinics. A "Back to Work School" is a converted University that rehabilitates lazy housewives that want to just sit at home on the sofa and eat twinkies and watch soap operas all day and get fat. You can find this on the Education Tab. You may convert up to 5 Universities per game month into "Back to work" schools. There is also a limit of 500 of these. Hope this helps. T. |
