JMR32 (Golden Rainbow) | Saturday, August 2, 2008 - 06:44 pm There are a couple VERY confusing issues in the game which could be rectified by a simple name change. The biggest one is the Defense Index and the Defensive FORCE Index. Many new players come into the game looking to get to level 2 as rapidly as possible, and one of the biggest stumbling blocks is getting the DFI to 75. If a player comes on the forum looking for help in that aspect, he is bombarded with differing suggestions from people who are confusing the DI with the DFI. The new person has no clue who to believe, so they just get more confused. And of course, if you can't understand a game you're playing, and can't get the same answer to a question from the different people you ask, more often than not you will just blow off the game. The other confusing name game which should be addressed is the interceptor missile/missile interceptor issue. Once you're familiar with the game it's not a problem knowing which one is for aircraft and which is for batteries, but for a new person this is also a confusing thing. Appreciate it if the powers that be would think about changing the name of one of the items in each. Save me headaches when I'm trying to help newbs out! Thanks. |
