Zyna (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, May 23, 2008 - 02:34 pm The slowness of the game definitely reflects how things never just happen in real life. When was the last time you saw a factory start and end production in a three week span? |
Angus88 (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 10:06 am Not much of a profit? I found production plants to be one of the most profitable types of corporations. Build one and get the quality to 200+ then tell me they don't make much profit. Most people mistake production amount and duration of production with profitability. I have a truly public production plant corporations in my country and that used to make 150B SC$ PROFIT per year, its not so profitable these days due to surplus of production plants (around 23B SC$, but thats quite good for a surplus market) because of a high production level (160%) it generates 30-50B revenue for my country from "country resources used" alone. |
Adam (Fearless Blue) | Wednesday, June 4, 2008 - 10:23 pm I agree with Angus. I own a bunch of production plant corps in my CEOs. Mine make about 20B a year. One of the most profitable for me. Since I own a bunch, I don't want production and supply to go up and get in the way of my profits. Adam |
Julia78751 (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, March 27, 2009 - 01:08 pm I conquered a country over an hour ago, and thugh my screen show I'm no longer at war, I can't close a duplicatre corporation in the conquered country becaue this part of the system thoinks I still at war. The instruction on conducting a war seems a little cursory to me. How to avoid wasting troops when the defense of a fort are still funtioning, getting your troops resupllied, and getting them to move was a trial and error process to me. Fianally when I try to increase production by raising salary, It seems i have to go through a complicated step to assure that hiring isn't on "automatic", then set the percentqae increase, then set the target salary. If I change the sequence, the salary change doesn't work. Naote at each step it seems I have to go back to the 'corp in country' screen. Can this be simplified? |

Pathetic Sheep (Little Upsilon) | Friday, March 27, 2009 - 09:16 pm The automated systems is something you have to do for a country. Once you have the settings you like changing it will probably be rare. From what I have seen or read all presidents who understand the effects of salaries on production and on his/her country will turn off the automated salary. If you don't understand the effects of salaries on your country and corporations you should turn off the automated feature so that you can experiment. It takes less than game month for a country to no longer be in a war. If you don't want a corporation in a country you are attacking you should bomb it. Destroying corporations is a very cheap way to lower the war index. In CCC corporations are usually the first asset I destroy, even if I intend to build the exact same type of corporation after takeover. |
