E O | Saturday, October 17, 2020 - 08:36 pm Players hostile bid my corporations and do not understand that might mean I will nuke them into oblivion. I spend time IPO'ing all the state corps into my CEO, only to have them taken away by a click of the button. Players doing this often have no idea how irritating and obnoxious they're being. If they intentionally intend this, that's fine, but I think half the problem is they don't understand what they're doing. When bidding on a corporation that is player-owned, can you please update the warning to make it clear players do not always like this and may take action? |
Zakalwe | Saturday, December 12, 2020 - 11:41 pm You can block CEO's from bidding on your corps. Just curious, why would you nuke someone for investing in your country? |
johnV | Sunday, December 13, 2020 - 10:44 am Some CEO's don't know it is not polite to bid on active players corps. Part of the problem might be the purchase screens. If the country header was added to the place bid screen then you could see if it is an active player. Contact them and see if you can get the corp back. Here is a past discussion about this. post Zak, you can't block CEO's from bidding on CEO corps. |
Zakalwe | Sunday, December 13, 2020 - 06:36 pm E_O made reference to nuking them, can you nuke CEO's? |
E O | Monday, December 14, 2020 - 07:27 pm No. However the VAST majority of CEOs also have countries/empires. |
Zakalwe | Tuesday, December 15, 2020 - 12:20 am I see. Thanks for the info, I wouldn't want to start a war over a corp or two. |
E O | Tuesday, December 15, 2020 - 03:23 am For sure It's much less of a thing now than it used to be. Before war levels were implemented, players could war much more easily and take action against each other. |
