Will Walker | Monday, October 28, 2019 - 03:51 pm At present the historical graphs for various statistics show only data going back 13 months, or roughly 48 RL Hours. During the week this seems fine, but if a player goes away for a weekend starting on a Friday afternoon, and can't come back to the game until after work on Monday, the historical graphs have already forgotten everything from when they left until sometime Saturday evening, approximately 30 hours of data. Since so much of this game relies on leaving things on autopilot, and so much of that relies upon understanding how the system behaves under certain conditions, being able to reconstruct events while you were afk is VERY important. I'd love to see the graphs' data extended to 10yr or 25yr ranges. If the problem is disk space (I can't believe that this should be true), then perhaps allowing players to link google drives or dropbox accounts to receive regular data dumps would be a workaround here? Consider modern stock charting tools available for free: the ability to view these data over selectable periods of time is very useful and would be a welcome change by all players, I believe. |
