abbotnettles | Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 05:59 pm Allow for the construction of public works within a country in order to give us buffs for example Hydroelectric Dam - 500 Billion Cash and 1 Billion units of construction would create a massive public work that generates automatically 100,000 Electric power per game month for that country. National Irrigation and Reservoir Act - 1 Trillion Cash and 500 Million units of construction would create a public work that provides a 10% buff to production of all Agriculture corporations within that country. Clothing Assistance Program - 1 Trillion Cash, 10 Million tons of clothes will provide a 10 point buff to welfare index. Soup Kitchen Program - 1 Trillion Cash, 100 million crates of bread, 1 million crates of butter, 10 million tons of coffee, 100 million boxes of eggs, 100 million ton of meat. A 10 point buff to welfare index Bullet Train - 1 Trillion Cash, 10 Million Train track Maintenance would give a passive 10 point buff to transportation index |
SuperSoldierRCP | Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 10:15 pm Personally these are nice and I think they'd be nice "feel good" updates, but in the past they've been rejected by players because no one could come up with a real application on why they are beneficial. Just some examples, By the time you have the money or power to enact these ideas your economy doesn't use agriculture corps and you've moved on to other industries. Welfare upgrades have always been debated because it would give new players a false sense of achievement when developing their index, it would devalue the reasons of having strong index's early on, then in the mid-late stages when you need high index's anyways it provides zero benefit as your index's are always at very high levels already. I encourage you to keep making suggestions, but just know players in Simcountry are detail originated. Keep the ideas small and "buffs" minimal something like 1% or so and you might get some support. Best of luck. |
