abbotnettles | Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 04:59 am Allow us to convert hospitals into IVF clinics in order to boost our population growth and if enough IVF clinics are available then women up to age 50 could still produce children. |
Daniel Iceling | Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 05:08 am I'd probably call them "Maternity Hospitals". With a "Maternity Index", functioning in a similar way to the current health index. Each Maternity Hospital above the needed number, would have a diminishing rate of return. With high Maternity Indexes giving a boost to the birth rate. Alternately, a far easier way to implement it. Would be to have the existing Health Index, also provide a boost to the Birth Rate. This would be a method for successful players to boost their population soft cap, through playing well. I'd be interested to hear what people have to say about it? Signed President of DanNation on LU |
SuperSoldierRCP | Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 10:43 pm I dont think adding more ways to increase birth rates is the way to go. Since the GM artificially lowers them its like trying to change a change. What we should look at is rather then looking at birth rates. Have a second form of back to work school. Called "Work force rehabilitation" which allows a certain percentage of elderly to return back to work. This drops Social security costs, provides extra workers, increases income, and would help to promote better education. |
