This suggestion may not seem like a big deal but first impressions are extremely important. When using the "new layout" option for simcountry the theme "Angel" automatically appears as the first/default theme to grace our eyes. I think this is quite a bad thing for newer players (nothing against the person who designed angel) considering it is kind of an eye soar. The theme called default should actually be set to default since it has very neutral colors and was apparently (based off of its name) supposed to be the main theme. I have introduced many friends and roommates to the game and their first opinion of the look of the game is always negative until I tell them what to change the theme to. Maybe it wont help at all but maybe newer players will be left with a better impression of the game. Let me know what you think. |

I can't stand the new layout in general. Disorienting. But yeah, that first schematic is seizure inducing. |
