I notice there is one item in the game that is not produced but is in fact essential to life and historically was called white gold and that is SALT.
I propose that a corporation producing salt be added to the game.

They have enough salt to the food that more would be bad for your population. Mot of us to live by the oceans anyway and we have a very serious Surgeon General in Simcountry.

(Michael - Nothing against your suggestion. Do not take this seriously.)

And what would the country consumption per capita, and which corporations would use this as a product?

I'm assuming it would be a Mining Corporations, and have similar supply needs?

@marshal.ney
Salt is a mineral and is used as food product as well as a preservative. The ancients highly prized salt. Salt is also used in industrial processes and in agriculture.

Aye, but in different amounts for different corporations on the food side. I think some products would not have enough salt included to actually be a supply. While it is used as a preservative, I think Chemicals are more widely used. There aren't that many agricultural corporations, per se. I think the ones like wool etc would be out of the ballpark? While peanuts would definitely benefit from it. I can definitely see the point in using it for meat products, other food products etc. What about services? Doesn't that include restaurants and fast food franchises?

However, is Salt covered under the Spices corporation? That could be a consideration.

Just promoting discussion,
