Currently, only countries use electricity generated by Nuclear Power. No corporations are listed if you search for corps using Nuc Power. Yet this is cheaper, and there is talk on the horizon of allowing other energy sources.

There should be an option for a country or enterprise, or even individual corporations to avail themselves of these opportunities.

Example - Power Grid option. Like the Nuclear Power tab in country which shows you have other types of Nukes. Give a country the option to allow Nuclear Power to be distributed to corporations within it's borders.

For Enterprise, an option for all/some of it's corporations to avail themselves of this energy source, if available, within the host country's borders.

For corporations, the same as the Enterprise. To cover privtely held corporations in other countries not covered in the first two categories.

A similar option to be set up for other energy sources as they come on line.

Cordially yours,

Why not change nuclear power production to electric power, so the corps produce the same thing but have different supplies? There would be no need to add more options and it should be simple enough to do.

Because it's two different corporations. They are talking about adding more power production corps, such as solar, wind, etc.

Be easier to make the end product all electrical power and interchangeable along all fronts. Still goes back to the power grid.

I'm not sure of any or all of the reasons nuclear power is cheaper then electrical, in this game. Or why it's underutilized. The above was meant to give options to the host entities to use/not use as their own conscience/business practices mandate. Without having to jump through hoops every game month to micro-manage.

Suggestion:
ONLY COUNTRIES can PURCHASE Nuclear Power.

CEOs should NOT be allowed in this Production and/nor Conversion Trading Market.

Justification: Nuclear Power is closely and strictly REGULATED ONLY BY COUNTRIES.

Note: Once Nuclear Power has been CONVERTED to Electric Power, then CEOs/Enterprises CAN PARTICIPATE in the World Market trading or Direct Trading markets.

Yes Nuclear power is REGULATED by countries, but today, almost all the commercial reactors in the USA are owned by private companies. It may be different where you live.

What we need are windmill farms. Although a really smart person, the smartest, he told me the noise causes cancer.

A country can purchase nuclear power.
It is much cheaper most of the time.

When delivered, it shows as electric power in the country stock.

then, the country has an option, to sell materials to its own corporations.

you can use the option, and have the country sell electric power that was purchased cheaply, to its corporations, all at once. You can sell them large quantities, up to 120 months of what they need.

Although most of the profit might end up with the country, it is very beneficial.

In this way, you can make sure your countries and all their state corporations, used cheaply purchased nuclear power.

Nuclear power is bu design cheaper, as in the real world, but requires a manual intervention from time to time.
Purchasing very large quantities reduces the number of interventions.

The only reason it is not used a lot is because players do not care about purchasing it even when it is much cheaper than oil generated electricity.

We intend to add renewable energy ASAP.
