James the fair | Sunday, August 21, 2016 - 03:04 pm The following changes would have to be..... Introduce a system of where your main country can still be attacked by other players of all war levels, but can never be conquered by another player, since losing your main country to another player is scaring everybody away, including me. Discouraging gameplay hugely afterwards. Which explains why that world is largely empty. I would also like to make fearless blue more unique compared to other worlds by making sneak attacks available to everybody at all war levels, since it is a war world after all, and to also have neighbouring C3 countries occasionally declare war on you and maybe launching attacks against you once or twice a month. This I thought, could lighten up the gameplay there and to encourage me to set up a country there. |
Zen | Sunday, August 21, 2016 - 06:01 pm That's what makes Fearless Blue Fearless Blue. Also no one, and I mean no one has been attacking eachother on fearless blue for months. The only people who have are Aries and Whiteboy. Fearless Blue is a wonderful place to start an empire on because it has so many empty countries. It has a large market too. That's why Fearless Blue is my main world. There are only a few very powerful players on the world right now, and most of them have no intention on attacking anybody. You can make nuclear weapons, buy stealth and conventional missiles. You can use fearless blues market to your advantage. You do not have to be a war player. Also you gain much more gc going up war levels on FB from any other world. The only requirement is owning a modest defense that you can store in an enterprise in case someone does attack you. Also all of the federations are open to people joining. All of them. So you can just join a strong federation for security, and gain knowledge on how to defend yourself better. Really the only way you will be in any danger is if you purposely piss off another player. |
marshal.ney | Sunday, August 21, 2016 - 08:15 pm Really the only way you will be in any danger is if you purposely piss off another player. Aries at one time introduced a suggestion concerning wars, basically a challenge by one side, which could be accepted by the other, then a start date etc. I'll have to try and find it. One of the reasons I didn't like it (at the time) was that it involved C3's, thus removing them from general gameplay during the duration of the event. Someone should ask him to pull this out, dust it off, and apply it to FB as a whole. Make the War World a War World again. |
James the fair | Monday, August 22, 2016 - 09:42 pm Zen, well I hope you are right that I can join any federation on FB since that was one of my biggest concerns as I was worried that every one of them will turn me away, simply just because I'm not big enough and only own a single country which means i'll be no good to them. However, I still do feel that your main country should never be conquered though, even if your enemy wins, as I personally lost a good 60 million population to another player there a few real years ago, he declared war on me for no reason at all and took it within half an hour, and that's the main reason why I never bothered going back on that world since. So really, you don't purposely have to piss off another player at all. So if the GM's in this game are serious of reviving the war game again, especially on Fearless Blue. I suggest they make it so your main country never gets took away from you by another player so we can always rebuild our empires from there which will encourage more interaction in the game. Until then, the PvP war game will never revive. At least make this suggestion so on Fearless Blue, and if it doesn't work out very well, you always can blame me which will be fair enough. Marshal.ney I'm not sure if aries idea is not all that great as I've been reading through all his posts about it. In my opinion, I feel as if his ideas will take away the element of surprise in the war game side of it. Its like as if we are preparing a football match together of where rules have got can be fair on both sides with so many weapons and cash in hand, I can't see it working very well no matter how much thought he has put into it, although some of his ideas on the economic side of the game has been very useful to me and I would like to thank him for that as he's made my country very successful now. My idea I would have thought, like I just mentioned here, should be easy to implement. |
Zen | Tuesday, August 23, 2016 - 05:15 am Hey, me and Zentrino are about to take a few hundred million population away from some players on FB, with a few hundred trillion worth of military assets. So no worries. Our federation is a private one between us two. Most federations are inactive however. If you want allies you'll have to cozy up to one of the active larger empires until you can defend yourself. Yeah it's a free world, you do what you want to who you want for what ever reason you want. Since wars aren't as frequent large players can pretty much keep growing without anything.. or anyone holding them back. Which makes a larger wealth gap between players to the point larger players like myself would be considered bullies if we attacked someone will less than 100T military assets. Also most of the current players who have played less than a year have little to no pvp experience or know how to set up a proper defense. Unless lectured by Aries like I have. Aries has been my mentor since I started and now I have one of the largest accounts in the game. I don't like to toot my horn all the time, in real life I'm far from being anything special, but I feel like I've made real progress in the game for someone who spent 0 dollars on gc. After this war me and Zentrino will open our federation to more players, but they must be premium, active, and be willing to learn/improve their empires. We won't force any other players into wars they do not want to be a part of. However we will defend them and counter attack aggressors. |
Zentrino | Tuesday, August 23, 2016 - 03:27 pm There has to be some level of risk for the great reward that you can reap on FB and losing your main is one of those risks. A large, well-organized defense will scare away most would-be attackers. I have over half a Quad in military assets on FB. I've been playing for one year, less than that on FB. By the end of the year, I plan to double that in assets. Come to FB, join the beginner's fed that Zen and I are creating, and learn how to smartly build a large military too. Your main will be safe. |
