Just wondering if it would be feasible to have the option to temporarily shut down corps in your ent / country.

For example, during war period, you could close it down and have it produce nothing, but also consume no cash because it's not functioning in the country.

If it's part of a ent, it wouldn't be charged on the country assets as it's not operating at that specific time?

An example might be for the space industry. You need a certain amount of boosters, comp or whatever, but then once you have enough, you can shut it down for a while saving your ent, the corp or your country the cost of workers, cash etc etc.

Temporarily shutting down a company without costs is not realistic. In the real world it would still have maintenance costs, unemployment compensation, property taxes, etc. In the game you can lower production and hiring to 10% each. Production will stop if you stop buying supplies.

Hibernation wouldn't be a significant improvement.

This exists in the form of setting hiring very low, like 10%.
