Wisco | Friday, April 17, 2015 - 05:49 pm Without raiding its seems like the rich get richer and the poor stay about the same. So what I'm thinking is what if on FB one wasn't forced into a higher WL. This would be kind of risk and reward as your empire would have to be WL3 or above to raid and thus putting it at vulnerable to attack. Just a thought |
Aries | Friday, April 17, 2015 - 11:56 pm Those building wealth have the same options as anyone else. The difference between these players and those not building wealth quickly remains skill and effort. I do not see how re-adding the mechanism of endlessly dispatching an easy computer opponent for large gains adds to the game. It is quite possible to build very good economies in very short amounts of time. |
Wisco | Saturday, April 18, 2015 - 01:04 am An economy that makes decent money takes a large population which requires a lot of time or a lot of gold coins. Remember u can't raid for population either. |
Aries | Saturday, April 18, 2015 - 04:28 am Why can't you raid for pop? The changes in favor of unbalanced worker transfers and unlimited war level 3 raiding has made this easier than ever. If you decide you don't want to keep the country around, transferring 200k pop/month, you can raid at war level 3 as much as you want to. You don't get the free system-generated cash in this case, after wl3, but you do get the cash from destroyed corps to give you a net cash gain if you spend any time finding a good c3 target and manage your weapon and ammo loss/use. Again, with some skill, very good economies can be built in a short amount of time. |
CrackerJack | Saturday, April 18, 2015 - 03:13 pm I agree with Aries. Amass a fortune at WL-3, while increasing pop. & building a strong economy. Take it from there. |
Wisco | Sunday, April 19, 2015 - 03:10 am Good point about raiding for pop. forgot about that. I get that it was ridiculous the amount of money made from raiding, but I was also thinking that it would give incentive for people to go above wl3 but theres probably better ways to go about it |
