HellRaiser000 | Friday, January 9, 2015 - 05:35 am I think instead of just having earthquakes and nuclear attacks as disasters, maybe we could have a new one that affects us all and might cause us to ally with eachother to find and build cures for them. *Just a suggestion. |
Karr | Friday, January 9, 2015 - 08:05 am You mean like ebola, AIDS, and cooties? I like that idea. Also, I'd like to see more natural events (tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, etc, for appropriate regions). |
Letsie | Sunday, January 11, 2015 - 10:05 am I strongly disagree. Asuming this was some sort of world epedemic that would affect everybody for a certain % of their pop/corps/other thing, then it would hit the most active players whith the most assets the hardest. It would put a lot of presure on just a few people to cure it which i think would be unfair. If the 'damage' isn't a % thing but an absolute number it would hurt the newer players a lot more and the stronger players who are needed to cure something of that magnitude would have little incentive to do anyhting. I do like the idea of more natural disasters. Or at least different ones. |
Karr | Sunday, January 11, 2015 - 01:32 pm Perhaps make assistance and research optional, like disaster relief. If a country opts not to help, that's their free choice. Though it would require a loss of population, and the source of an outbreak would be debateable. A C3, perhaps would have a plague that is spread to whomever conquers it? Or it could come from some of the monthly migrants to this or that country. There are several options the GMs could use to implement it should they decide to. I'd like to see an addition of seasons and climates (there are already flora and desert regions) and a few new apropos products like fluid heaters and dust filters. |
