Orbiter | Sunday, August 10, 2014 - 10:38 pm when you have multipul space docks on the same station, when you click on inventory, their should be a total percent full or available space. as it is, for me to figure out how much space i have left, i have to scroll through a hundred docks, keeping track of the few that are mine. unless some one else has a better way? |
Orbiter | Monday, August 11, 2014 - 10:49 pm i just want an easy way to know how much room i have on a space station, with the mobiles its easy, 10 mobiles to a dock, i can count them myself from the inventory, with the cervus station, i've got 4 products that i have to devide each by different number, add them up, and i'm planning on added 2 more. libra is a little easier, but the same, i realize this may not be a big deal to the GM, i'm probably the only one that really needs this. but if i click on inventory, it should tell me how much space i have left, with out me needing to do any math. it should say, how much in terms of sale units, that is if 25 stealth bombers or 250 pbombers take up the same space, that should be a single unit, if with my 6 docks, i have 230% avaible, it should say i've got 23 open spaces. or 23 out of 60, or 23.26 or what ever shrug but as far as the the single station for all products, people have been complaining about that since space was created, since then they've added crucis, for mobiles, and libra for space parts. the GM aren't going to change that, no matter how much we complain. same with the docking costs, last time we had a good discussion explaining why docks should be cheaper, they agreed that "transport" costs should be cheaper, so they lowered the cost of space transport, by increasing capacity of some products... essentially, it was a thumb in the eye of those that where selling shuttles, which where already at 1/6 the building cost. although a thing to say in the GM defence, 200 GC for a dock, well, if you could buy a dock, and be reasonable certain you could sell 10-15 GC worth of stuff a month, that'd be be 1-1.5 years and you'd make your money back, for the long term aspect of SC, thats a good investment. the problem is that their isn't enough turn over in space to justify that, and their wont be, until players can invest with the confidence they'll get their money back, or gain value by purchasing. to get things kicked off, it'd speed things up to lower the docking prices to 30-50 for a while, then gradually raise the prices back to 200, as things start to improve |
