Can we be told via the game news when corporations change how much they produce or are supplied. (Ideally before the change)

This update caused car corps to use significantly more car engines up from 43000 to 70000, and produce slightly less cars, down from 75000 to 70000. (nice update btw, finally 1 car engine per car) car engine corps production did change, i think it actually dropped and now around 1.5 car engine corps are needed for every car engine corp to maintain the previous flow of cars. This will inevitably lead to shortages in car engines and cars in the sort term.

Note: The 1.5 (and all other numbers) come from my attempts to remember the accepted contract percentage or car engine crops from before the change. It is an estimate at best.

Exact numbers would be preferable but even, "Copper corporations now produce less and require more Electric Power" would be a significant improvement.

You are right.

Normally, changes are very small.
we have said in the game news many times that corporations are changing slowly and that these changes will continue.

This one was an error.
The cars corporations managed to use less than one motor per car. This is an old error and was discovered short time ago.

when fixing it, the number of motors used, jumped.
We should have done this in many smaller steps.

All other changes were very small.

We do not think that a very small percentage change is significant, especially when the profitability of the corporation is unchanged or improved.
None of the changes has cause any reduction in profitability.

If this was a exceptional case than the current system makes more sense, but perhaps stating error of spiking the demand for engines would have been useful. (certainly if the problem greatly effected more than country consumption and 2 corp types)

The issue caused by these tiny changes is not profitability, I trust you make sure to keep the corps well balanced in this. The issue is dozens of contracts need a tiny increase or decrease. A quick prompt in the game news saying that some corps have changed so check your contracts would be very appreciated.

We will put this message on the game news.
