New worlds and expansions to the maps of the current worlds.

GM puts out ADs to populate these new worlds and fill the huge voids now in the maps.

A new, more 'traditional' forum structure to hold all the new people.

Andy gets rich, moves this to a full time job, and gets a bigger house with a swimming pool, sports car, gets a skylight, and makes $70k per year. Then, buys out Galactic Conquest and makes it as awesome as SC.

Thoughts? Comments? Complaints?

at the current price of 300GC per country or $30 USD (at the current rate of $36 per 360 GC), there is no secondary market to sell countries that are well developed.

looking around over the years, i have not known or seen players being able to sell their developed countries for 300GC or more, but most of them sold for less than 200GC.

there are still so many countries without presidents for all the five worlds. in my last stats tracking on 27 july 2013, there were 10,517 countries without presidents and 13,350 countries with presidents.

i have suggested before that instead of $30 USD per country, make it $1 USD per country. let the good players at least make a profit of say $1.50 per country when these players put lots of their times and afforts into building up c3 from mere 10M population to over 50M population.

get rid of the GC and just go with SC$ and US$.

the forum format needs to be upgraded to either bsb or simple machine, etc....

Costs 30 bucks?
That's only if you're a free member.

Premiums can have 1 country on each world for 30 GC per month.

yes,

the best GM conversion rate = $36/360GC = $0.10 per GC?

so 300GC/country x $0.10/GC = $30 per country

30GC/month x $0.10/GC = $3 per month

so would you buy a country for 300GC ($30) then developed it from 10M population to 50M population, then sell this country for 200GC ($20)? and not even counting the monthly $3 that you pay per empire per world to when you sell this country. if you just have one country in that world, and took you 12 earth months to get from 10M population to 50M population, you already paid $36 on top of the $30 you paid for the country, so selling it for $20 would get you a loss of $46?

why would any player go into knowing that he/she will not make any profit?

might as well be a free player and learn as much of the game mechanics as possible, until you can make a decision to be premium or to jump ship to other games?

sc does have great potentials :)

yes, the first country in any of the five world is free.

5 countries in five world is $15 per earth month, then 12 earth months is $180?

what can a single country in a world do?

the very foundation of nation building is people/population, a single country will be very slow to develop due to population growth/decay?

might as well get five countries in one world so you would only pay $3 per month?

There are tips and tricks for faster growth. Plus,t he level bonuses are great. Heck, just level 6 gives you 110 gold coins.

And unless you're a really good player or account sharing, that many different empires is a bad idea.

And if you ARE a good player, you can vastly reduce those costs with levels and rank awards.

I like to raid, train tons of professionals, and sell the high level guys for low level guys to work and pay taxes in level 1-2 corps.

correction 30 GC per empire on each world and if you have an enterprise as well it's another 30 only your main game entity don't cost.

5 empires + 5 enterprises = 240 GC a month
5 empires = 120 GC a month
5 Enterprises = 120 GC a month
It would cost 240 GC to a month to own an empire and enterprise on every planet.

You have one main game entity and the rest cost 30 GC a month to keep.

Like with the Premium account Pale rider gave me, I had Republic of Ontario and Cameron Enterprises. my enterprise cost me 30 GC to have.

@starfoth,
i once climbed three levels and cost me great deal of earth times and sc military wares, at the same time driven the economy of my country to negative cashflow.

climbing 6 levels to get 110 gc or $11 US?
how many earth months does it take to climb 6 levels on sc? each earth month cost $3 per empire/enterprise. you better be climbing 6 levels in less than 4 months to make at least $1 profit per empire/enterprise?

do you make enough gc in the game to cover your cost of playing the game?

@john martinez,
thanks for additional info

so if you play enterprises and empires, that's 240 GC ($24 US) per earth month? are there any additional cost to play the space portion of the game?

>I got to level 6 in 2 weeks
>You can just go to a random planet, play there, invest, and manage your GC for 2-3 months hoarding all the GC you can get, evacuate, and sell all of your nations and enterprises to other people.
>I earn enough to cover it, plus, I'm earning rewards and could be a potential hall of fame member.

@starfoth,
that's pretty good :)

what do you sell the countries you conquered for?
if you're really good in conquering countries, you could be hired? :)

I can't find any good offers for war damaged countries.

yep, takes forever to rebuild war damaged countries and i think there are also restrictions to sell them too until you get them to a certain value?

the only best option is to let them go again, then reconquer in a few months when gm repair them? just a repetitive process that does any player really got the times waste?

you can have one enterprise and one empire on every planet as a premium.

1 empire or 1 enterprise is your main game entity and you do not have to pay for it. All the others add a 30 GC requirement to keep every month. So say your main game entity is a empire on White Giant and you want an enterprise, then no matter where that enterprise is it will cost 30 GC. and the more empires (max of 5, one free, four for 30 GC) and/or enterprises (max of 5, one free, four for 30GC) the more the cost, 30GC a month for each..

The space game can only be played by premiums (IK downer) and the cost is what ever you buy.

1 enterprise = 0 GC
2 enterprise = 30 GC
3 enterprise = 60 GC
4 enterprise = 90 GC
5 enterprise = 120 GC

1 Empire = 0 GC
2 Empire = 30 GC
3 Empire = 60 GC
4 Empire = 90 GC
5 Empire = 120 GC

1 Empire + 1 enterprise = 30 GC
2 Empire + 2 enterprise = 90 GC
3 Empire + 3 enterprise = 150 GC
4 Empire + 4 enterprise = 210 GC
5 Empire + 5 enterprise = 270 GC

seems I messed up my previous math.
for five empires and five enterprises it's 270 GC. That gives you ten game entity's and one is free and 9 cost 30GC a month each.
30GC x 9 game entity's = 270 GC

How much real money does it cost for 270 GC?

more confusions on prices, need to KISS (keep it simply stupid) :)

best rate was $36 per 360GC = 36/360 = $0.10/GC

270GC x $0.10/GC = $27 US? :)

so if you buy GC to keep your stuff going it's 27 dollars a month.

So someone with a minimum wage, an apartment, and buying groceries and paying rent and bills probably wouldn't be able to pay $27 a month for a game. (this depends on the country as minimum is different for most countries so don't get all uppity people)

Umm.....no

You don't buy it for 10 cents a pop.

You pay $36, you get $27 in GC.

Plus, that person probably wouldn't have countries and enterprises on every world. I have 3 objects, 2 to pay for, and I'm account sharing.
