Teh Kilrain | Friday, August 9, 2013 - 03:07 pm Some serious, some not so: Health Insurance (now mandatory for citizens) Retail Stores "As Seen on TV" Products Junk Food (requires potatoes!) Solar Power Debt Collection Agencies (Uses a lot of telephone) Real Estate Injury Law Firms Marine Salvage |
Arthur Mitchel | Friday, August 9, 2013 - 05:44 pm and as many male players have been discussing with each other in secret.... The porn Industry. The only sims in our countries need something to get them going when they can't find true love and that is pornography. ALLOW THE PORN INDUSTRY TO FLOW ON SIMCOUNTRY!!!!! VIVA LA PORNO INDUSTRIE!!! you can even test it out on White Giant. |
Teh Kilrain | Friday, August 9, 2013 - 09:33 pm I thought about that, but thought, well, maybe its just discreetly covered under "Books and Magazines" I'll add Plastic Surgery Clinics to my list, which can employ some nurses and doctors in the private sector, and make my citizens booty-full. |
Tallisibeth na Colliete | Thursday, August 15, 2013 - 02:40 am .............Yeah, porn technically falls under both "Books and Magazines" and "Cable TV". But I give you an A for effort. |
Space313 | Thursday, August 15, 2013 - 03:39 am Tallis, you forgot that it goes with "Internet" as well. |
Star Foth | Thursday, August 15, 2013 - 04:07 am I would like a medical expansion with more kinds of special clinics. Birth hospitals to increase birth and increase the soft cap. ICU to decrease death and increase the soft cap. Also, trauma wards to reduce civilian deaths in war, lower the disability rate, and increase the retirement and expected life ages. Plus, qua upgrades for existing facilities to increase effectiveness, lower maintenance, and reduce number needed. |
Dominik | Friday, August 16, 2013 - 11:51 am What about banks or other financial institutions that can give private loans? And maybe this could be linked to the housing market. |
Andy | Friday, August 16, 2013 - 05:38 pm some nice products here. will think about it. we also have a list. |
thewhy | Friday, August 16, 2013 - 06:32 pm There should be a SC server within SC that my simmers play |
Laguna | Friday, August 16, 2013 - 08:52 pm I want trains. I demand trains! And just any trains, I want steam trains, diesel trains, electric trains, mag-lev trains, space trains, trains! trains! trains! I'm cuckoo for train-o's. |
Nico | Friday, August 16, 2013 - 09:39 pm Yes! We need trains! Then we should take away potatoes :p |
Teh Kilrain | Friday, August 16, 2013 - 09:58 pm Heh, I just realized we have railroads, and railroad maintenance, but no companies that make trains. I jump on the bandwagon for trains! |
Space313 | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 01:01 am lol, you shouldn't take potatoes away, otherwise the Irish will come and through bottles of beer and wine at you! |
Star Foth | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 02:02 am All the fertile lands in my country are on the potato farming craze. IE the ultra corporation "Balator 500 Kinds of Potatoes" |
Star Foth | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 02:13 am Here's my list; >Trains (consumption product with 1 per month per 1000 miles of traintracks) >Desalinization plant (Worth 3 water treatment facilities, and costs half the maintenance. But costs 5 times more) >Birth hospitals to increase birth and increase the soft cap. >ICU to decrease death and increase the soft cap. >Trauma wards to reduce civilian deaths in war, lower the disability rate, and increase the expected life ages. |
Andy | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 09:21 am Excellent ideas. especially the trains which is totally new. never heard of it in all these years. The fact is, we have them. zoom into the map, as far as you can. Then check the railroads, very carefully with a big magnifying lens and you will see them. They are all pink. If you don't, repeat the next day. |
maclean | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 11:05 am fur farms; breweries and distilleries ( everyone knows you can't run a decent country without them) and this would use up any surplus grain; fast food joints; I love the idea of Thewy's, imagining all my sim-citizens playing sim-simcountry |
Star Foth | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 06:30 pm Fur farms? No, just...no... Also, Andy, what's Dyna Unlimited doing wrong as far as profiting goes, if you don't mind my asking? |
Arthur Mitchel | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 07:40 pm BULLET TRAINS!!!!!! |
Nico | Saturday, August 17, 2013 - 08:27 pm We should have strip clubs! |
Andy | Wednesday, August 21, 2013 - 11:59 am More trains? Start Foth I don't know what you mean. what and where is Dyna? if you ask a specific question about a country, or an enterprise, and you let others look into it, I am sure there will be answers. |
Star Foth | Wednesday, August 21, 2013 - 01:51 pm I got some help from Aries on Dyna Unlimited (WG enterprise) |
John Martinez | Tuesday, August 27, 2013 - 03:22 am different kinds of trains cost more or less, if your country can only afford steam engines then your country is still in the industrial era, if you can afford normal trains or bullet trains your in the modern era, if you can only afford those small carts where you push a lever up and down to make it go while.... you shouldn't be trying to buy trains... AND YES STRIP CLUBS AND PORNO CORPS!!! |
Space313 | Tuesday, August 27, 2013 - 03:49 am Andy, here are my corporations that I have in mind: Drink Corporations: They can be Fruit Juice (Already in), Sports Drink, Coffee (Already in), Soda (Unsure), Mineral Water, and just plain ol' water. I know we have water treatment plants, but they need water to start out with. Trains: Haven't trains already been recommended by Manny a long while ago, its a great idea, and I guess you can vary them. Also, should hospitals increase the number of children born, and lessen those who die? I think it should have one more thing; increase the range of ages that sim citizens should give birth? They are having a long life? Also, this should increase retirement age. Fertilizer: This is used in Agricultural Corporations to increase output. Finally, we should have Federation/Common Market Banks: The CM may set a tax amount on how much money a member makes, like 1%. For example, if someone makes 10B profit, and the Fed/CM tax is 10%, then 1B would go to the Fed/CM bank, also, there should be like some kind of security to see who gets the money. Please reply about my suggestions! Also, the customer service here is excellent! You are active, if not very active, in the Simcountry Community. |
T Mac | Tuesday, August 27, 2013 - 08:17 pm What about adding something to mirror the small businesses that dot our real world? Add an index that takes workers out of the system, adds profit and taxes, and is titled "Small business" or something like that. Right now we can only create big businesses that hire thousands of people. |
John Martinez | Tuesday, August 27, 2013 - 09:03 pm mental asylums. |
maclean | Wednesday, August 28, 2013 - 12:53 pm Lol, john. Very apt, in this game. @ T Mac: I agree. How about aquaculture, for raising fish and shellfish as a corp type? Genetic modification/manipulation of existing crops/animals? |
John Martinez | Wednesday, August 28, 2013 - 03:26 pm I WANT A PURPLE BANANA!!!! AND A GREEN ORANGE!!!! But honesty the game does need some new corps for the market like real life things...... Playboy. |
maclean | Thursday, August 29, 2013 - 12:48 pm rofl |
XON Xyooj | Monday, September 16, 2013 - 11:27 am different classifications of corps, it seems that all the current corps in sc are large corps. need to have small corps and medium corps small = less than 1000 workers medium = from 1001 to 100,000 workers large = from 100,001 or more workers small corps would be such as family businesses, self employed contractors, and so on. medium corps would be such as local supermarkets, engineering firms, employment services, etc... large corps are those we now have in sc. these corps should be classify farther as well. not sure why an eggs corp would need 15,000 high tech engineers, 3000 high tech seniors, and so on at game level 1. as the game level corps increase so should more higher educated workers be in increasing numbers too. these classifications would help put more people to work |
John Martinez | Monday, September 16, 2013 - 12:20 pm Ya the worker requirements need to drop a lot. Game Level 1-3 (Non-Premium levels) should have a lot lower requirements and then game level 4 and onward (Premium levels)will start requiring more. Especially since most premium players can have the extra population required. |
Space313 | Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - 02:41 am Amazing XON!!! That SHOULD be added ASAP, that would revolutionize SC!!! |
Star Foth | Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - 03:50 am New weapons! |
XON Xyooj | Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - 05:38 am @space313, would be nice if they could at those in. i have so many of each profession, but cannot build big corps because i don't have enough of the others that are required. they need to point out that you should only building a corp if you can do enough production to have a positive cashflow for the corp. the way sc is set up on, you can have 100% of the other professions, but if you got only 10% of one profession that is required, then your hiring for all professions would be 10%---that's what i'm seeing in my corps. on earth, one of my brothers is an chicken eggs farmer and his business ranks in the top 10 egg farmers in america but he does not have 15,000 high tech engineers; he has less than 100 people working for him. so i wonder what does the 15,000 engineers do if he has them in his business |
XON Xyooj | Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - 05:44 am @star foth, sc probably has more military wares than most players know how to use them already. what new weapons/ammos would you like to see? really, each country in sc is about the size of an american state, and we already have sc countries with over 100M population, so we are already stacking people on top of each other. we have hydrogen bombs (strategic bombs) in sc, that only one of them would wipe out the whole USA, yet we have them to defend a american state size country? sometimes i wonder if our supersonic planes in sc could hit their targets too because by the time they drop their loads, the are almost into another country already, if they are similar to those fighter planes on earth? |
John Martinez | Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - 12:19 pm It's offical imma spend hundreds of CAD$ on buying 50 more countries, Then i'll get how ever many more is needed to be the size of Canada. |
Star Foth | Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - 06:32 pm Well, I want the planets need to be bigger, but that's just my wierd, questionable fantasy. Honestly, I'd welcome retrofit planet extentions. That would make my day....errr...6 months |
The Honey Badger | Wednesday, September 18, 2013 - 01:28 am Xon, you're taking things a little to far. |
thewhy | Wednesday, September 18, 2013 - 03:42 am @ Maclean....."How about aquaculture, for raising fish and shellfish as a corp type? Genetic modification/manipulation of existing crops/animals?" Thats against God |
maclean | Wednesday, September 18, 2013 - 06:09 am Don't a lot of us come here to play God? |
XON Xyooj | Wednesday, September 18, 2013 - 02:46 pm @honey badger, i'm trying very hard to have imagination to have fun in this game |
jacksonz24 | Friday, May 30, 2014 - 12:51 pm car dealerships would be good |
Mute | Saturday, May 31, 2014 - 08:15 pm We need for transport planes to do something. Fed X delivery. We need passenger airlines. I like breweries. The people need dog food for their critters. The people are naked and cold. they need clothing. |
