Star Foth | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 04:54 am Generic; -THIS FIRST ITEM IS HUGE! Bind a nation or enterprise to your account so it is undeletable! (Limit 1 nation or enterprise.) I worry about the day I click the wrong button and remove my main nation, rather than a slave nation. To delete, requires 3-7 day confirmation process, followed by an email with 2 clearly labeled links to cancel, or confirm. Cancellation process can be disclaimed at any time. To remove binding, requires the same process, but without deletion. -World wonders that have an effect, either static or small dynamic. (Wonders aren't 1 per world deal, but rather 1 per nation, nameable, and all such) Space Game; -Moons and claimable land (several moons per planet, 1 claim per empire, the total land available on moons is equal to 1/3 or 1/4 of the nations on the planet) Moons can produce things that cannot be produced on the planet with....well.....versions (They can produce special fighters, resources, or units to unlock new buildings or unit types including Space Cruiser. Also, nuclear thermobaric weapons for nonwar worlds that don't leave long-range radiation effects [<50 miles], stealth bombers, and all such) -Asteroids for mining rare minerals for new products that can be bought or sold on the planet, but the raw materials cannot be produced on the planet. -Interplanetary currency that isn't GC (GC leaves a complicated mess and undesirable space game) -Extrastellar missions to bring back nonexpirable artifacts to construct alien wonders. -Alien combat missions with rewards. (Requires high war level) Expansion++; Merging a neighboring slave country{limit 1} to your leader nation. {I said "To", not "With". "To as in they become a part of your leader nation (Must not be at war and have indexes at least 120. Also, population needs to be a minimum of 14.00M. Premium members only and requires a hefty lump sum ($50 worth) in GC. It will be a permanent addition) {Can someone offer a rebuff, I like the idea, but it seems like it needs better requirements} |
Star Foth | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 04:55 am The existing anti-accident deletion system is....lacking.... |
XON Xyooj | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 05:55 am may be we can all ask nicely if the owner/gm will let us become shareholders/owners of this game via owning shares, so all dreams/wishes of the owners can help make this game better? i would buy $1 USD per share, with a limit of 1,000,000 shares for the whole company. but know that there are currently less than 25,000 countries throughout all five planets so we cannot have every shareholder owing a country in the game. |
Star Foth | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 06:15 am XON, I don't understand what you're saying |
TheTenthClassofBLU | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 06:22 am Idk about the shares thing. Shares aren't counted like that, there's a huge economic system of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds behind it. Plus, they need to be a lot bigger and more developed to hold 1M in shares, or even enter the stock market period. Plus.....idk...it's just..... Well, with that out of the way; Although the suggestions on the first topic seem awesome! I agree that the mass-security/binding thing is good....as long as it's a single country or enterprise per player. Perhaps if a country has an asteroid mining system set up, enterprises can mine them as well, with a limit on the number of corporations per asteroid field. |
XON Xyooj | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 10:47 am i'm saying that i am willing to invest my real american dollars into this game as an owner, as well as being a player. that's being an owner of the company that owns this game simcountry, which i believe is W3C? most people/players have to know how to play the very basics of this game before it keeps on expanding; the vast number of players cannot even build a decent country, empire, or enterprise, yet let alone trying to conquer space and moons, and other off-planet realms. i don't know how many players are playing the space portion, but i suspect them to be very few because it looks like all the space stations are owned by the gm? some players, such as me, can't even conquer computer controlled countries (c3) efficiently and effectively yet....so much times and military wares wasted before could take control of a c3. we can suggest all that we want as player, i bet 99% of the suggestions do not get implimented or falls on deaf ears/brains. but if these suggestions comes from owners, and the owners have stake in the success of this game then i'm sure suggestions that get the most votes would get implimented into the game. successful business operations try to exceed customers expectation, and listen to customers. unsuccessful business operations will develop their own ideas and expect customers to take it or leave it. this game has great potentials....but the seeds have to be properly planted. |
Star Foth | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 05:49 pm XON, that is a brilliant. :D Do you know what we need? An expanded tutorial. I learned it pretty well, and the videos didn't help. Some things I needed to ask other players, but couldn't get answered until I talked to one of the top 10 players. I'll bet that even premium members that have been here several years don't know how to set up special forces. Also if you wanna take over a computer nation(at war level 0-1), destroy the interceptors, defensive air units, and bomb the factories. At higher war levels, you need to set up a decent defense and attack forts, their own defensive units, bring in more units to attack, and when you get to the insane war levels, you set up special forces to take down AA weapons. |
Space313 | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 10:26 pm Wow, I am just amazed, this is excellent! But this would require some work, and I don't think the Sumcountry Team is that big, but I believe this would be a great idea. |
TheTenthClassofBLU | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 11:42 pm Can I add something? ********** They would need more and bigger worlds. Maybe even expand the edges of the current maps. Plus the 1 enterprise and 1 corporation per planet would need to be changed to...lets' say 5 countries on different planets, 2 enterprises. Plus, limits on players to C3 nation ratios. Lets' say.... 1 to 3. ********** |
TheTenthClassofBLU | Thursday, August 1, 2013 - 06:50 am I hereby dub this the unreleased Dyna Might Update. Because your country's name is The Republic of Dyna and, well....Dyna Might. The background has something to do with your country launching a space program, and the shuttle missing, only to report back that they found an alien world. The spec ops that were on the shuttle engaged against the aliens, but stole an alien research shuttle which contained all sorts of important alien info, including the structure of the planet, demographics, and all that stuff. And choose Aries and Wicked Lady's nations to fit into the moons and asteroid's scenarios. Blah blah blah. |
XON Xyooj | Thursday, August 1, 2013 - 04:36 pm mines and others' are great ideas, but current owner/gm may want something else. sometimes some people prefer to be small, because big often difficult to control let's keep hoping that some things on here will change for the better...until them, we're all have to be experts on the basics of this game first. |
thewhy | Thursday, August 1, 2013 - 06:02 pm the gm wants to control us... no thats not right |
Josias | Friday, August 2, 2013 - 02:56 am looking at my account, unless i can get my space shuttle program to make me some GC, i'm looking at like at least a year before i could afford a space station dock, the price really should be reduced. allot of the GC prices in space should be reduced, especially since the removal of the GC market. but i'd find a counter of increasing the GC cost of pop, an interesting trade. but i'm probably the only one on that last part. |
XON Xyooj | Saturday, August 3, 2013 - 12:04 am here's my simple version if i am the owner of this game: sell each country at $1 USD, instead of the current $30 USD (base on 300 GC per country and about $0.10 per GC). at the current $30, there is no secondary market because most players cannot sell their good/great countries to other, so most seem be selling at the 200 GC. this whole concept of GC and $SC, then $ US also is a weird relationship too. i say we are planet earth players, so let's stick to $SC and $US and get rid of GC.....make it simple such as $1 US = $1,000,000,000 SC or something like that, so if my country/empire has an asset value of $20,000,000,000 then it's simply about $20 US. |
XON Xyooj | Saturday, August 3, 2013 - 01:01 am my simple share ownership mentioned earlier is to provide serious interested players to also be a part owner of the game. kindda like shopping in your own store, then you need to go shop at someone else's store. yes, it works too by having player pays $4 per month to play the game, but it's like buying term life insurance that at the end you get nothing because you either quit or die so either way you don't get any of what you paid for. $1 per share is much better than most penny stocks out there anyway...keep it simple for everyone. someday if i want to sell my share to some other serious players, then i could sell them say at $2, if the game has generated sufficient revenues to be paying the owners via $ per share. as i've said above, if 1,000,000 shares and each of the 25,000 countries is bought by a player then that's $25,000,000 US to take this game to the next level...and one of the items in that next level would be giving players the ability to build their countries from the ground up such simcity, cities xl, or other more detail games. at this price, i could put my hands up for 1000 shares this game has been around for awhile, it seems to be at a stage that it will either grow or slowly die. the game got great potentials, and the foundation of the game needs to be more solid/secure. this just my wishlist, being a premium player or free player makes no difference to me because at the end of the day i own nothing in something that i devote time, energy and money into. but being one of the owners of this game, i know i have an opportunity to sell my investment or harvest the fruits of my investment. may more of you have the same wishlist as me, and then we can all pray that the current owner/gm will see from our angle. |
XON Xyooj | Saturday, August 3, 2013 - 01:09 am looking around this game, there are some very devoted and serious players....they do for their enjoyment. so if i am the current owner/gm of this game, i would offer them the opportunity be be even more devoted to this game, by letting them become part owners. i found that the helps i get from other players are much much better than anything i have ever read in the documentations of this game. many times i question whether the documentations are correct too, because you have to decife what it says. how to get his game to have more players, give players a stake in the game....much more than just paying/throwing away money, but offer them the opportunity to make more money than they have invested into the game. i just have to keep dreaming on these |
Star Foth | Sunday, August 4, 2013 - 05:50 am I keep updating my Dyna Might update list (which may never happen) based on what I see on this topic, along with more ideas I'm messaged by my friends and what I come up with on my own. This is in case (which will never happen) the GameMaster decides to make a major update and he asks me for it. It's just for fun and the lottery-equivalent chance it happens. One major thing is the limit on fleet commands and bases you can have. It's ridiculous that there should be such a limit. Even if you don't need it. Also, fleets need to be in multiple places at once, you shouldn't be limited to having 1 per (absurd level) of ships. |
