For example, suppose my iron corporation has 12.7 stock months worth of coal, and my buying strategy is set to start at 75% of market price and increase by 5% for every month that the product is not delivered. I'd like to create the order at least by the time coal is at 5 stock months, so that the purchase order equals market price when the corporation is about to run out of coal. If this isn't possible, does anybody know what number of stock months remaining triggers orders? |
