Space313 | Monday, May 27, 2013 - 03:24 am So I was playing a rather old game (Supreme Ruler 2020), and noticed that it had a budget function to assist families in raising children, which promotes family growth. I am wondering whether the implementation of such a feature could be added, or presently exists. It would work like this, they're will be a base (or default) price that will exist, and the president can increase or decrease the amount put into that department. I hope you can think about my suggestion, and implement it into the game. |

Borg Queen | Monday, May 27, 2013 - 04:46 pm maybe there should rather be another new section like 'child-care', countries in RL do have higher pop-growth rates if they have a good 'child-care' System, many kindergardens so parents can get back to work sooner... |
Andy | Monday, May 27, 2013 - 05:10 pm Good idea but we have so much more to do here. |
Space313 | Monday, May 27, 2013 - 08:38 pm Okay thank you both for the response, I was wondering how to increase my population faster. |
Borg Queen | Monday, May 27, 2013 - 08:42 pm Well, I guess for now there are 3 ways: 1. Buy Pop for GC - Fastest way to increase Pop but cost GC 2. Increase Health - Mediocre way to increase Pop 3. Increase all Indexes to get Migration - real small effect on Pop |
Space313 | Monday, May 27, 2013 - 10:41 pm I am working on #2, and I've done #1 long time ago, but thanks anyways. |
madpraxis722 | Wednesday, July 17, 2013 - 01:52 pm Add day cares to the high schools to help take care of all the new babies and increase graduation rates! I say having every school in each grouping fully stocked with day care facilities nets you bonus priority points! (<-- sarcasm) (Note, last time I checked my old high school had 3 full time care givers (And a still abysmal drop out rate )) |
thewhy | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 08:30 pm in my country noone has babies until they are 18 and out of highschool |
Star Foth | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 08:52 pm I just think there should be some new factors to increase birth rate. |
thewhy | Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 09:38 pm yeah migration is pretty much nerfed... that should be reversed |
