bigsatanloaf | Sunday, April 21, 2013 - 03:45 am The page for Back to Work Schools is misleading because the number of housewives that can return to the labor market is limited by 1) 40% of workers in CEO corps & 2) total number of housewives. The field for "Max number of Housewives that can return" only shows the number = 40% of CEO workers, suggesting 40& of CEO workers is how many housewives can return even if there aren't that many housewives in the population. Why not clarify by having separate fields for 1) "Number of Back To Work Eligible Employees in CEO Controlled Corporations" & 2) "Max number of Housewives that can return"? That way it is more clear that number for 40% of CEO workers is constrained by the total number of housewives in the country. It would also be nice to have a table/chart for "Number of Housewives that returned to Labor Market." I'm wondering if housewives who returned, but then died or retired affect this number. A table/chart for "Number of Housewives Returned Last Month" would be even better. Are there divorces in simcountry? I just want to know why it's taking so long before I can shut down these 40 Back To Work schools. I have concerns with the Back To Work Program... |
Aries | Sunday, April 21, 2013 - 08:21 am Unfortunately, your 2nd limitation is inaccurate due to poor information on that page. In addition to the 40% of workers in CEO corps limitation, you may, in fact, only return half of the total number of housewives. From my country, my 40% number: Max number of Housewives that can return 7,486,184 My total housewives: Number of Housewives 4,139,043 and my ones that returned: Number of Housewives that returned to Labor Market 2,068,774 I currently keep 1 "back to work" school open to get the odd additions as my population grows. |
bigsatanloaf | Sunday, April 21, 2013 - 05:22 pm Wow, both my countries are stuck at exactly half of total housewives having returned to labor market. Thanks for your help! I can't seem to any place in the game documentation that says this. I've wasted a lot of resources keeping these open. The page for special clinics says "The maximum number of the disabled that can be rehabilitated is also limited to 50% of all disabled workers." I can't understand why the Back to Work page lacks a similar statement. |
Andy | Sunday, April 21, 2013 - 11:50 pm I agree. the page is unclear. I used it several days ago and the page needs an upgrade. I already added to our short term bug fixing list. |
