SweetPea | Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - 09:47 am With the pace of tweaks to corps to reduce costs, ipoing has become increasingly difficult. My P/E ratios are consistently hovering over the 40.1 requirement and when they get close to matching the current number required new rounds of tweaks seem to pull it back away. Can requirements for IPO be relaxed to 60.1 at least temporarily? |
James the Fair | Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - 01:07 pm I completely agree of what you're saying here, i've had trouble trying to do the same thing. |
Aries | Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - 02:30 pm Actually, on LU, I have been having a different problem. I have accomplished numerous IPOs but private investment has dried up. I have 23 corps with sub 40 P/E ratios, 9 sub 30, that I have not sold any shares of yet. If the requirement was relaxed to 60, I could IPO several times that many corps that could exacerbate that issue. |

Scarlet | Tuesday, February 5, 2013 - 05:41 am Well, they are related... if there isn't enough investment in successful IPOs as it is, there really isn't a need to relax the IPO requirement, is there? |
