gandi stewart | Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 03:30 am need warehouse-silos or some way to separarate low quality stock from high to prevent 120 from contaminating,300+stock. |
Crafty | Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 12:26 pm +1, I like that idea, and have often wished for it myself. |
Rick | Monday, November 12, 2012 - 11:02 pm Build a space station, or two or three. Call them warehouses. Well it works. |
Alex Borders | Thursday, November 15, 2012 - 02:32 am I tactic I use here - take for instance Hi Tech Svcs. I'll use 'trade directly with corp' to sell all my country's stock to one of my corps with a low supply quality, and then use my country's stockpile to transfer around the high-quality goods. Then I buy back the low-qual HTS from the corp I sold it to. By 'Space Station' do you mean 'Space Center' ? I haven't read up much on the space game - is it worth chasing? Or should I stick with the country stuff I'm doing now? |
Rick | Thursday, November 15, 2012 - 07:51 am Alex: Yup, sorry, I did mean space center. You can store multiple items, say FMUs, tanks and computers. The storage has limitations, but it's huge. I've not found the max yet. Just keep track of the item quality you put in storage because once inside the quality is not listed. If you add more of the same item but different quality, the quality averages. Don't know what to tell you about the space game. It is expensive to set up and profits are not easy. If your rather new to the game it probably won't do you much good. I use shuttles as much as a trucking company between countries and worlds as I do in space and for the things you were talking about in your post. |
sbroccoli | Thursday, November 15, 2012 - 10:45 am 'Expensive' is an understatement. Unless you have a ~30 million nation/empire up and running allready, it would ruin your economy just as much as setting up a decent army. |
