If anyone has any ideas about what advantages and disadvantages a Oligarchy government should have. Which is basically the dictatorships and fascist state governments combined, please post them on this page.

Oligarchy, or government run by a chain of command. Is most oftenly established in a military regime. Though its possible to be established in other ways, the only reference in history you will find is Plato's republic of his fictional city. Run by Philosopher-Kings, down to Gaurdians, then workers. Other than all forms of Oligarchy have been established as a military rule. The top general runs the country, followed by his generals, then down to colonels, majors, etc...

With that said a fascist government like the NAZI party resemble this, as well as Guadaphe's, or stalin's regime. Of course in the past it worked out very well, Monarchy's were established with this being the root of their government, as it used to be whoever TAKES the power has the power, and evenutually those were born into that power.

The stregnths of this is obviously obedience, productivity, and a strong military force. While the trade-off is a miserable lifestyle for the unfornauate.

But I like to think that the miserable lifestyle shouldn't be gaurenteed it is very possible that an authoritative government can be good to its people, such as King Richard the Lion-Hearted.

To put this into SC: I'd say the same things I had in my post for Oligarchy

1. Use of a citizen militia
2. Welfare deduction
3. Increased base for Social Security

But also
4. Productivity increase
5. Riot Immunity
6. No public ownership
