Marshal Trumm | Saturday, May 5, 2012 - 03:35 am I think that the owner of a corporation should be able to have the corp stop production for a given number of months. An example where this would be useful is if you have a strategic weapon corp that you cannot yet supply with plutonium or some other direct-sale-only product. You could just order the corp to stop producing until you can get a stable supply going to it. Otherwise, they are just going to hemorrhage money all over the place and give the owner a headache. If you have it cease production for a while, it won't be so bad. This happens a lot in the real world. Companies will set production quotas to minimize cost or maximize profit, and it's not too hard to imagine setting a quota to zero to cease production. |
