Caessar (Golden Rainbow) | Sunday, February 26, 2012 - 09:15 pm I think we should be able to see a list of our cities and their pop. I like playing with my map, and I am sure many do, and I want to be able to see my larger cities compared to others instead of going through them manually. Also, is there a way to change the capital? If not, there needs to be. And, can there be population transfers from one city to another? Maybe I'd like to build a sprawling metropolis, with 7 million people, but I have 9 million. That should be allowed. Lastly, if you take over a country, you should be able to extend your borders and make them part of your country, as opposed to a completely different country that you control. Having something like states would be interesting as well. |
Rick Johnston (White Giant) | Friday, March 9, 2012 - 11:17 pm i like the idea of the changing of borders when you conquer a country but most people conquer countries away from them and it would make the game complicated considering to invade 1 country that was combined you would therefore have to invade 2 countries and eventually there would be no more countries for new presidents and it would be impossible to assault large empires but maybe some sort of system could be developed further linking 2 sister countries would be nice |
Billionari (White Giant) | Sunday, March 11, 2012 - 12:44 am Yeah. Or maybe, it would have to be a country directly adjacent to the ORIGINAL boundaries? That way it wouldn't grow too large, and you could maybe take one "state" at a time in war. |
James the fair (Fearless Blue) | Monday, March 12, 2012 - 06:28 pm I like the sound of these ideas. There should be an option saying... do if you want to merge these 2 countries together? then that way it would also combine population, corporations, weapons and supplies, etc... which would make the game a whole lot easier and save a lot of time checking on each country. Although the 2 countries involved would have to border each other for this to happen, it could even be 3, 4 ,5 6, or even 100 countries combined together like this, which would also fill most of the empty countries with no presidents on this game, which would also encourage more wars as different presidents will be clashing and fighting to expand their own borders. I like the sound of this idea as this is how this game is meant to be played. Quite a lot of people have talked about this, we should put this on the vote poll. |
SuperSoldierRCP (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 15, 2012 - 10:48 pm "as different presidents will be clashing and fighting to expand their own borders" that's a very bad idea. Then your talking "MEGA" empires. Imagine 1player with 10countries turned to 1empire. Now they have 1000forts, 30-40-50M army, Ton of CEO(so theres no state corps). Now lets say 10players do this and make a fed. You get the picture. in short good idea on paper VERY BAD idea in game |
nix001 (Little Upsilon) | Friday, March 16, 2012 - 12:27 am I dont know though. If you have one massive country, your enemy's would chip away at it, taking land, corps and bases(including weapons in those bases). Maybe there should be a certain distance between forts, cities and factories so you could not place everything in one area leaving countries worth of land not used. Or if not that then maybe per million people you need a certain amount of land to sustain them? So when you loose land in a war your population drops? |
