Ivan the Terrible (Golden Rainbow) | Tuesday, June 14, 2011 - 02:22 am The government types need to have different settings for the daily processes. Democracy needs to have private controlled corporations, as they make their profit from tax, Communism needs to have public controlled corps, as they make their profit from the purchase and sale of goods, and a socialist democracy needs to provide large subsidies to private corps, but they also gain their profit from tax. Also, the way the military is run has to change. In a monarchy, the king has absolute control and he can move the army anywhere he chooses. In a democracy, the leader must have approval from the legislative branch. Lawmaking is also not used. Laws play an important part in peoples lives because they determine how people should behave. It does not have to be complex, but it could have an option. The residential tax and commercial tax should be adjustable too, but they are not part of most national government. Anarchy also needs to be adjusted because during that time, nothing is happening and the country is in a stand-still. It should not be a chosen government as noone starts in anarchy unless he stole power. Citizen satisfaction is an important part in government, as it determines how well the country is doing on a political and civil level. Increased levels of unhappiness for periods of time lead to protests and riots. The riots will spread and create anarchy, not a selected government. The people will then choose a new government that appeals to them. I know this is very jumbled, but it came out in a rush. I hope it helps improve the game. |
