King Quinton (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 02:04 am Im posting this message on every forum to get support for a new graph. Below is my request as submitted on the poll. PLEASE GO VOTE IN FAVOR! Every game month i have several issues with my workforce. Profesionals die especially in countries with high upgraded corperations. If a graph was implemented to show how many of what workers were dying, so we could be more knowledgeble about setting our education priorities, it would be easier to manage worker shortages. This is something i cant believe hasnt already been discussed. I sit up countless nights trying to figure out what workers im going to need the following game month and its very time consuming. |

King Quinton (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 03:03 am Not everyone reads just this forum. This may not be a big issue but its an issue nontheless. And damn annoying |
Laguna | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 03:05 am And not everyone reads the New York Times. Ideas advance on their own merit, not on persistent and annoying spam. |
King Quinton (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 03:09 am Its more like promotion. I understand anyway, so ok |
Laguna | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 03:11 am Thank you for understanding. |
King Quinton (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 03:17 am Just out of curiosity laguna...two questions. Did you get your name from final fantasy 8? and second, did you vote in favor of my proposal? |
Tom Willard (Golden Rainbow) | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 01:08 pm The request is good but not so obvious as suggested. you should have some reserve in each group. it is also not so very easy to implement. death numbers per month are computed when the next month values are computed but the numbers are not stored in the database and if not stored, we also have no history data. adding all professions, with all age group death numbers will add hundreds of fields per country. (we could also add one death number per profession). in addition, the numbers in the 60-65 years old, or in general, in the oldest group working, divided by 60 (60 months in 5 years) give you the number that will retire next month. maybe as a first estimate, take twice the number of people who will retire next month as the total number of retirees and people who are dying at a younger age each month. |
Laguna | Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 05:48 pm Yes, I take my name from Laguna Loire. I don't vote in polls much. |
