limits of weapons tranfers due to worker shortages-
Worker shortages can be fixed. Bans in general I think spoil the game. Maybe units/garrisons should have worker allocations like schools, and can only be deployed if workers are available. This would prevent the build up of weapons in countries that cant support them, but allow more control for the player to balance the work force. Also the banning of ammon transfer on the basis of worker shortages is a little strange. I think the $ transfer limit is suffiecient to prevent massive ammo transfer.

Reactivation-
This should be 10% of total forces rather than undeployed forces.

Air defense-
The idea that interceptors shoot down bombers rather than fighter is very biased. I think the poor pilots of our interceptors would rather shoot down the fighter thats going to kill them rather than the bomer that is going to kill somebody else. Maybe a % of both fighters and bomers should be attacked.

That is sound tactics practiced by all major powers.

Stop the bombers either by shooting them down or make them drop thier payload and haul ass.

That is the job of an interceptor. Escorting Fighters on the other hand have a different job, kill the interceptors.

Usually by salvo's of air to air missiles to break up formations where it comes down to the group that is still intact.

Simcountry has always been about numbers yet there is no since in talking about what was. Rather than change HOW the weapon system works, simply increase the number of responding units.

Federation Air should have a unit from every country that is IN RANGE. Five countries would give you 2000 responding fighters. More than enough to trash an attack.

Then again, people would just complain that it was either too hard or scream because they where getting thier air defense stripped faster.

That I've seen with my own eyes :)

Tis true the main job of the interceptor is to stop the bombers. But they do shoot back at the fighter trying to stop them. Interceptors tend to have to go through escorts to get to bombers. Some interceptors will clear the way for others to attack the bombers.
