I would like my Common Market to get the orders that are available even when it can't be fully filled, they should get atleast what can be received... "Contract not filled" why because of one order short? I want a list of orders instead of contracts... That way I sell no matter what. I get a lot of the contracts not filled because someone did not have the money to pay for their contracts and had others that would have liked to get that order, but could not because someone else had the contract first even though they did not buy this month or last month...

So basically, I would like to have all product go in to my Corporation's ware house and get orders when needed, as well as contracts. Then I could get more/less sold when needed not when someone has the money and my Corps have filed bankruptcy.

Have the option to put the Corp Ware House on the Local and Common Market. So when I or someone else puts in a order they get it from there instead of the World Trade.

Great idea! Instead of offering stock on world trade; you should be able to offer it on the common market.

Maybe combine the two? The stock offered goes to both? And preference is given to the common market buyers?

You can contracted everything to yourself. Periodically direct-sell large chunks to people that might need it.

I've noticed that contracting to yourself doesn't result in profit, since you can only take market price. right?

Yeah, and you have to have a contract for it to go out. And if you don't have that much this month, then next month your over stocked... I want order forms not just contracts... If it is needed they should search their options before just jumping to the World Trade.

I just put in a order for Roads, Tracks, and so on... They go straight for the World Trade. And if I am lucky enough, I still get it from myself. I am trying to support myself and my CM. When I have excess, then I will go to the World Trade and click on the sell button and type in an amount.

can't you just unclick the button that says sell stock on world market? then the corp will just stockpile all the stuff?

But, yes order forms are simpler then contract production for (order / max production) months.

Heh and all this time I thought the advantage of being in a CM is that prices are fixed, and supply/demand in guaranteed.

How do you unclick the world trade option with out losing the option to sell extra? I don't want it to stockpile up stuff. I want it all sold but to the CM first.

I want to know what I am importing and exporting on the IM as well so I know what I need in my CM...

I thought so too, until I found out different...

If you have an oversupply contract in CM, canceling then re offering them isn't really worth it. Keep in mind you buying these goods at market price, if you have lots of goods from oversupply contracts set a specific price sell order on the world market to make a bit of profit from it.

Wait - you can sell your supplies? Directly from the corporation? I thought you could only sell to your country, at market price?

Yes, you can sell directly from corps too. That is mostly used in nuclear weapons corps.

John I was talking about what Angus said about oversupply contracts. I got the impression that you can sell your SUPPLIES from your corps directly?

That can't be right.

As to selling product from corps, that's different. He was talking supplies.

Oh that. No, not exactly... You can trade supplies between your country and your corps, but not with others.

Why would you be getting oversupply contracts to corporations?

That never even occurred to me, I thought you were talking about country contracts.

if you accept your supply contracts, while at 100% hiring, and it drops from there for whatever reason, you're still bound by that contract amount - which will read as over 100%.
