Are BTW schools a one-shot affair? You convert a university (does it still employ university teachers and others?) it trains 1000 people over a year, and then closes? Does it still employ people even after it closes?

I assume whatever answers I get also apply to special clinics. If not, how do they differ?

Nope, they continue working indefinitely employing the same staff and training 1000 every year.

Ditto for special clinics.

Its the rate, not a one off conversion. So if the trained disables or housewives die or retire, they will be taken off the "number of converted ____" figures.
