Angus88 (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, July 29, 2008 - 05:50 am I want to deactivate weapons deployed as garrison. I set the targets where garrisons were deployed to "undefended". No result, the weapons are still in the targets even though these targets are "undefended". I made a 1 unit garrison blueprint, deploying these in place of my existing garrison in a hope of replacing the blueprint. It made it slightly worse, it deployed that one unit to my targets along with the existing garrisons. Does anyone else have this issue or am I doing something incorrect? |
Danneh Turner (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, July 29, 2008 - 09:47 am Do you have enough supply units running around? Even to remove weapons from garrisons, the supply units need to go and fetch them and bring them back. If you have few supply units, this process might take a long time. |
Angus88 (Little Upsilon) | Friday, August 1, 2008 - 12:29 am Oh lol I destroyed my supply units just before I recalled my garrisons. |

Dvd Avins (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, August 1, 2008 - 11:04 pm How do you get supply unites? And how do you see how many you have? I don't see them listed under military units I can buy. |
JMR32 (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, August 1, 2008 - 11:15 pm From your "war" button at top left on country page, go down to military units. Choose setup new units. It'll take you there, just look for supply units and hey presto! |
Dvd Avins (Golden Rainbow) | Sunday, August 3, 2008 - 10:06 am Thanks. I see that now. But I'm still not sure about the initial setup of supply units. The documentation says the unit is recreated for each other unit the supply unit needs to supply. So should I just go ahead and create a large supply unit even though I don't have all the components listed for it? |
JMR32 (Golden Rainbow) | Monday, August 4, 2008 - 07:22 am The secret to supply units is to zero out all the weapons except jeeps. Some folks use 1 jeep, some 10, whatever tickles your fancy. A supply unit doesn't attack anything, and unless you're invading a foreign country, who's going to worry about attacking them? They don't need weapons. If they do get destroyed in a war, how much does it cost to replace a jeep? As for the difference between large and small, don't really know. I always create large ones, and build a few more than the number of units you need supplied. The reason I do that is because after a delivery they need to return to base and restock before they head out for another run, and that takes time. If I have an excess of supply units just hanging out drinking beer, the game can send them out with new supply, ensuring a constant flow. |
Angus88 (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - 05:40 am lol drink driver supply units. Maybe thats why they have been thinking they can invade secured mode countries lately. |
