zapadka (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, July 20, 2008 - 03:29 am Can someone explane,or tell me where to find how defense system works. when I order weapons-and can see them on resource page that shows what is active or not-does this mean anything index wise,or is it kind of a garage untill I garrison them or put them into units?? Ive created nuclear defense garrisons but the weapons arent getting there? Do I need more supply units /larger units. Ive also recalled all troops but still have garrison units? Any help or an outline of the system would be appreciated. My logic is clashing with sim logic ,meaning Ive made assumptions going in that have resulted in confusion. country:loveland |
Angus88 (Little Upsilon) | Monday, July 21, 2008 - 10:47 pm Ok with garrisons. What you need to do is setup a garrison blueprint (but I think the game already has some made up), this blue print tells the ratio of weapons to be deployed. Now you have to deploy the garrisons, you will have a menu of what you want to deploy your blueprint to, you can the set what % of the garrison blueprint to be deployed. After deployed all activated military weapons will move out of the military bases and to what you deployed them to. Each blue print is deployed to every target you deployed it to. For example say you make a garrison blueprint that is 2001 anti aircraft batteries, then that means that you will need 2001 anti aircraft batteries for EACH target you deployed them to, not 2001 all up. You only need one blueprint (although several different blueprints are probably suggested), meaning if you deploy your blueprint to forts, and then, capitol then the deployment to forts will not be canceled. The main problem being is there is no simple way of knowing how many more weapons you need to complete your garrison deployments, as once they are deployed they don't appear in your weapons stocks. So you need to figure out how many weapons you have by examining the garrisons (under deploy garrison blueprints and go to where you deployed it to) then working out how much more you need. |
zapadka (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, July 22, 2008 - 03:50 am wow, thanks for the reply. Ive been figuring it out by playing around with it.The recall all troops on the blue page with the phase out announcment dosnt do anything.Ive manually "undefended them" and then deployed new blueprints.Am now seeing if size/number of supply units affect the speed that garrisons are replenished. I wish they set this up like the corporation drop down menu, with all pertinent info-whos ever designing this must really be into legos theres a clunkiness about it.Anyway thanks again |
Angus88 (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, July 22, 2008 - 10:30 am Its a good idea to have a small supply unit (1 jeep or other cheap unit) for each garrison target, and a large supply unit (again minimum amount of cheap units) for every actual unit you have active. I'm not much of a war player, so other people could give you better advice. |
