Tanis78 (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, May 31, 2008 - 04:24 pm I've been playing for quite a while now, and my main country (Saint Petersburg)used to be ranked in the top 25 on Fearless Blue. After I switched my defensive forces to the new garrison system, my ranking quickly plumetted to the 40's. I'm not quite sure if changing to the new defensive system was the cause or if it was just a coincidence. Since then, my ranking has continued to fall even though I think I'm fairly active in maintaining my country. So, does anyone know what exactly goes into the calculation of your ranking? Or at least know what factors seem to be important (i.e. employment level, defensive index, education...) -Tanis78 (Saint Petersburg) |
Adam (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, May 31, 2008 - 10:57 pm If you click on your score, you will move to the bottom of your page with the indices. These indices are weighted against other players for a raw score. There is then a Level multiplier for your final score. I hope to determine the relative weightings of these indices with my next slave. Adam |
Tanis78 (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 12:54 am Yup, I see it know, I previously didn't notice the "The rating is calculated from many indexes. The most important ones are listed below" that it says above the indices. So your score does factor in many elements though like you I am interested in finding out which categories have a higher weighting. Thanks, -Tanis78 |
Angus88 (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 08:43 am Employment is a huge one I think, finance also. Army size also seams to add a lot onto your score but it comes at as a burden on your economy. What I've seen make the most points is common market trading. Although I don't know how much points you get from sending relief to other countries, maybe two people could exploit this by nuking each other then sending relief to each other (although you would need to get a lot of points for this to be viable). |
Tanis78 (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 02:23 pm Well, there are always earthquakes happening around the world, so it would be pretty easy to find countries to send relief supplies to. As for using the common markets to run up your score is a good way to ruin the profitability of your corps. |
Warwood11 (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 02:46 pm if you really want to test this (the earthquake idea that is) Khaz Modan, Blue Mountains, Xl7 had an earthquake |
Warwood11 (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 02:50 pm seems the most recent quake is in South Saint Petersburg |
Tanis78 (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, June 3, 2008 - 08:18 pm Yeah, South Saint Petersburg is actually one of my slaves, so i did send supplies there. However, I noticed that you can now only send 100 building teams (or medical/school/nuclear) at a time and it has to be from a country with at least 6 million pops. Before, you could send up to 1200 teams at once, clearly the game gods are trying to close the loop hole on quickly increasing the population of a country hit by a disaster. |
Keith Allaire (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, June 4, 2008 - 12:39 am NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I've only had the chance to use that once, and now is there any point in maintaining my stand-by C3-taking forces that were on standby for when disaster strikes? |
