For example: If you are defending against only airplanes, a garrison with only anti-aircraft batteries is best (beneath your defensive air wings ). Tanks are virtually useless against planes and would provide you with zero value in this scenario. If you are defending against missile attacks, a mixture of missile interceptor batteries and defensive missile batteries is probably best. Anti-aircraft batteries are virtually useless against missile batteries and would provide you with zero value in this scenario. It all depends. As such, good garrisons can come as a result of good scouting of your possible enemies and in combination with a number of air defense wings. Do note, only players at war level 3 can fight other players, and generally, garrisons are unimportant when fighting computer controlled countries. Because of this, garrisons are usually only a thing on Fearless Blue when actively fighting another player (which is somewhat rare). They have costs and minimal usage, so perhaps it's worth investing more into economy first (I am not aware of your country/empire situation). For what it's worth, I stick to almost exclusively "batteries" in my garrisons. Defensive, missile interceptor, anti-aircraft, and nuclear defense. @Fadytarek999 - What world do you play on and what is your country named? |
