It seems I've encountered the same problem, I've been waiting for a corp to build for several game years now. Strange, as all the workers are in place and ready to go, in addition - whenever I check on the status of the corp construction - It always says it'll be complete the next game month!
My first response would be insufficient production plants or the 'soft cap', this will be my 40th corp and I have 139 production plants! Was there a solution for this or some suggested workaround in the meantime?

I looked into your issue. To build a corporation your country needs to have at least 50% of the required workers in every profession available.
You seem to have 0 low level workers.
There is no "soft cap" on corporations. If you figure out your worker problem you'll be able to start building again.

Had the same problem on White Giant, plenty of population free and production plants and think I've found the reason\a solution. There's a lot of shortages on the market for the basic items needed at the moment so think that's the problem and why it's not building since it can't get the resources needed.
Try going to the corps page, click on details next to the corp that's not building. Take a screenshot of the resources needed for the corp to be built, then go to your trade page and using the screenshot manually buy at least the amount of the missing resources directly to your country stockpile (remember to go back into trade orders after placing them and click the button next to each to change them to immediate orders instead of waiting on best price), you'll get a message pops up saying it'll cost about 1/3 more to buy them immediately but click yes, at least you'll have them.
I did that and left it overnight, came back in the morning and the corp was built. Had been sitting for 2 full days waiting before that. |
