Dominik | Friday, March 25, 2016 - 03:59 pm Hi everyone, Today a CEO build a new corporation in my country, which is awesome (in general). However, I noticed that his target salary is 100, which is extremely low and I would like to see it at a level of 300 at least. If the CEO does not comply with my request, what measures could I take to force him to increase his salary level? Thanks in advance! Dominik |
Sheepman | Friday, March 25, 2016 - 05:52 pm nothing really, but somethings you can do are effective, like open up a corperation with a higher salarie to take workers from the corperation, likely leaving it in ruin if not moved or no salaries increase. I personally think there should be something as a evict private corperation, like who is a ceo to move a corporation to a country, or if a country is acquired that already has a private corp, and the country will have no control over it at all. Not sure why theres not a way to evict but im sure theres an explanation. |
Al Sadius | Saturday, March 26, 2016 - 06:49 am Short him workers. Make sure you have exactly enough of some worker class to fill n-1 corporations, and let his hiring drop to 5%. He'll change his tune, or he'll move, or worst case he'll only use up a minuscule fraction of your labour force. Also, send him a message saying why higher salaries are good. In my experience, they don't actually drop profits, which is a deeply counter-intuitive result, ad he might not believe it now. Try to convince him before doing anything too drastic. |
Dominik | Saturday, March 26, 2016 - 05:17 pm Thanks for the answers! :-) I agree with the idea that it should be possible for countries to evict certain CEOs. |
Al Sadius | Sunday, March 27, 2016 - 12:18 am Oh, there's another option if you're truly unhappy - you can always nationalize the corp(though you'd be paying a premium to do so). |
Dominik | Sunday, March 27, 2016 - 02:43 pm Unfortunately, that option is only available for premium members of the game :P I'm a free player, so I'm pretty much restricted in my options. |
Dominik | Monday, March 28, 2016 - 02:59 pm What I also don't understand, is the following situation. In my country, social welfare expenditures for jobless people are at 80% of the average low income worker wage (in Oct 3896 that is 80 percent of 15,217, which is 11,626). How on Earth (or in my case, "how on KB?") do those jobless persons decide to work for a company with a salary target of 100, in which the low level worker only earns a salary of 5,000, instead of staying home and getting more social security benefits? Isn't it more logical that the social security index is a kind of benchmark above which workers are willing to go get a job, and under which people prefer to stay home? |
Aries | Monday, March 28, 2016 - 07:56 pm High tech execs would make the same 11,626 on social security but make 39,000 working for such a corp. Could be they force the other workers to show up. I dunno. heh Anyway, looks like your CEO just adjusted target salary to 300. |
Dominik | Monday, March 28, 2016 - 08:11 pm Aries, you've got the eye of an eagle :P (Or you just deployed an extremely efficient network of spies in my country :p ) |
