Christos | Thursday, September 19, 2013 - 09:19 am As far as I can tell, there are some weapons that do not fit into units but are simply "deployed" to the corresponding base/fleet command/carrier. These are LBCM, CMSB, NFP, NHelis, Defensive Navy Batteries-Missile Interceptor Batteries, Nukes, Chems and all warships (correct me if I forget sth). As a side-effect, as I understand, these weapons and their ammo can not be upgraded since they have no units. Question: In view of the above, is there any reason whatsoever, that I'm completely missing, to actually deploy these weapons during peace time, thus burdening your country with massive paychecks, instead of just leaving them in a space center and deploying them when/if need arises? I would really appreciate if someone experienced and knowledgeable in war could answer this for me. |

Star Foth | Saturday, September 21, 2013 - 03:36 am Deactivation works well. However, strategic weapons, are well-worth thier cost and take long times to reactivate. Overall, I have all weapons Ready-To-Use, but in all seriousness, if you have a damaged economy, offensive weapons and naval weapons may be deactivated as they can redeploy in due time. Also, if you wanna know how to launch non-branch strategic superweapons(Bio-Chem-Nuke, and the such), contact me. |
Christos | Saturday, September 21, 2013 - 08:56 am What's the point on deactivating them if you can never deploy them in the first place and just leave them at your space center. You can deploy them from there anytime you like without doing it gradually like reactivation. |
