Madoff | Wednesday, July 25, 2012 - 07:56 pm If you look at existing space-related corps, you will find that very few are profitable. You can get a wide range of opinions about the space program. In my opinion, that whole scheme is best avoided. Public corps sometimes pay dividends. Generally they need to be profitable to pay a dividend, and you need to set the profit transfer to something greater than 0%. You can individualize the profit transfer percentage for each corp, or set a uniform percentage. The shareholders get a share of the dividend proportionate to their ownership of the shares. Your CEO can own an unlimited number of corps. But once it has 400 corps, it starts having decreasing marginal returns. I don't believe there is a limit to how many corps you can get by bidding or building. |
