jansen | Friday, July 13, 2012 - 10:30 pm hey everyone i run an enterprise on WG called NATO Product and Investment Company when i first started a bought some very profitable GM corporations because i wanted to make sure i would make an initial profit it cost alot of money and put me about a trillion in debt was making good profits per corporation but i only have 7 so the ammount of money i was making was minisccule compared to the size of my debt....i put my corps in a country with good welfare and a pretty low tax level and they were doing good but now they are making losses and ive been waiting to get more money so i can build more corps but it is just not happening can someone look at my enterprise and give me any advice......last time i asked for advice the guy told me to build as many corps as possible to grow quickly but that just gave me a huge debt and made all my corps un manageable and unprofitable im going for a more organized slow and efficient approach this time to guaranteee im always making a profit but this is unbearably slow and quite disappointing for a new player |
Crafty | Friday, July 13, 2012 - 11:20 pm It seems enterprises are unlikely to make any worthwhile profit until they have at least 50 corps. Dont worry about the debt too much, as long as the interest payments dont get too extreme, you need to invest to get the payoff down the line. |
Madoff | Saturday, July 14, 2012 - 12:17 am First of all you overpaid for 6 out of those 7 corps. It costs about 60b-75b to upgrade most corps to at least 200 production quality and 200 production effectivity. Therefore, that's what a typical highly upgraded corp is worth. If it has a lot of cash, it might be worth more. But 6 of your corps have a market value of 169b or more, and little cash. There is no benefit in overpaying for takeovers. On the contrary, you can find lots of highly upgraded corps to buy for less than 50b. Often you also can buy corps that have a market value much less than their cash. With 1T, you should be able to buy at least 20 highly upgraded corps. As for profits, it's best to get the quality of the product close to 296. Almost all of your corps are well below that, even though they're highly upgraded. If I were you, I would raise the average quality of supplies until the product quality is around 296. |
