When I read about IPO here in the forum it looks like that could be done quite fast. I tried to do it with one of my corps to transfer it to my ceo and as of yet I only got 1 share trade session in the meantime. Is it only once every hour (or even less often) or am I just doing something wrong? There is a share sale offer from corp and share buy order from ceo active

Your timing is quite important. Mid game month to almost the end of same month seems about right. After that it seems the server runs other processes. It is easiest to try to do whole corps in one go or else the corp will perform a share split and this can confuse things. Its the same percentage wise but the numbers double, often more than once. So my suggestion would be IPO between the 16th of the month and the 20th to be sure. At other times random investment funds can pinch some of your shares too, very annoying.

I saw about the 'best buy after 20th of month' and I made the IPO on 22nd and put up sale and buy orders, only 2 trade sessions now, one every full hour it seems

Only one 'safe-ish' window per game month really, so one every 4 hours on KB. Somewhere around 16th to 24th, -ish again. Other times investment funds can intervene and buy your offered shares. And dont forget to set the share targets for country and CEO. Set the percentages for how much of the corp you want each to own. If you dont, you can find them buying and selling all the time as the value and P/E ratio of the corp goes up and down.
