Auguste (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, August 14, 2011 - 12:34 pm I would like to know what happens after you buy population with gold coins. What do they become? Workers? Managers? HT? What age? Do you have to educate them? Thank you in advance. I would like to know if buying population that way will get me workers for my corporations. |
Crafty | Sunday, August 14, 2011 - 08:49 pm They'll come in the same proportion of workers as you already have in your country. I think there's some difference between buying from GM and another player, cant remember. |
Matt Patton (Golden Rainbow) | Monday, August 15, 2011 - 03:19 am also you loose some Live expectancy when you pop boost |
Auguste (Little Upsilon) | Monday, August 15, 2011 - 01:43 pm I heard that if I buy too much, the population will rebell. At what stage will they rebel? What are the damages? Can I like double the population in three days? When you bid, do you give the coins strait away, or do you give ONLY if you win the bid? |
Crafty (Fearless Blue) | Monday, August 15, 2011 - 02:52 pm If you double your pop then you're going to need twice the hosptals schools roads etc. So until you build them your welfare will plummet. Could possibly result in riots but I would doubt it, things have to be pretty bad for that. My thoughts are buying too much pop at one go will give you age group problems later on in the game, but it's all managable I suppose. You must win the bid before any coins change hands. Please be sure you have enough coins as it really is annoying to people to sell their pop only to find you cant afford it, where someone else could have bought them, and the pop has to be re-offered. |
Matt Patton (Golden Rainbow) | Monday, August 15, 2011 - 10:36 pm if you get too much pop they magically turn into old people when the exchange is made you trade your gold coins for pop then next month you see the results effects 40k teachers 10k uni 250K llw -0.7 LE enough labor for 2 or 3 companies a bunch of medical people the rest problem are determined how much you have no old people no kids |
