Synicus (White Giant) | Wednesday, April 20, 2011 - 11:29 pm September 2809 Thousands of high tech profesionals vanish in the entire empire? |
Crafty (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, April 21, 2011 - 12:04 am Yep, they do that if the game decides you arent educating enough of the right sort of people. |
Synicus (White Giant) | Thursday, April 21, 2011 - 12:19 am Hmm, well with a 200 education index, what would be the minimum prioraty to avoid future vanishings? I'm not talkin a regular shortage, High tech seniors for example went from a 5k surplus to a 5k deficit in one month. |
Crafty (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, April 21, 2011 - 02:31 pm You're going to have to look at several things synicus. Under automation is a button to show log of all actions taken by the game (log all or something), regardless of having all automation turned off it will still alter your workers around if it thinks it necessary. Do you have new corps? Upgrading corps will also take hi-tech workers obviously. You could look for a large shift in population age so a lot of your older people (HTS) retired recently. You could try to work out if the GM has made one of his sneak changes to number of HTS your corp types use, (This last being the most likely IMO). |
Synicus (White Giant) | Thursday, April 21, 2011 - 10:15 pm I am upgrading, but most are maxed out. I guess it was a combination of lowering prioraties, transfering profesionals, age shifting, and upgrades. The log was very helpful, thank you Crafty. |
