The Manager (Kebir Blue) | Friday, August 7, 2009 - 03:21 am I know you can't control the amount of workers but where do they come from? My countries keep getting worker shortages and it seems to be increasing. |
Tuasman | Friday, August 7, 2009 - 06:20 am Depending on your population lvl you will get a certain amount of workers every month. If you are haveing shortages of certain workers try changing your education priorities so that the workers u are short on get a higher priority. Or u could use a few coins to buy a population boost that should help. Deactivating some of your military will send workers back into the workforce. And as a last resort u may consider closing some corps. Also make sure u have some back to work schools and special clinics to get housewives and disabled people back to work. Good luck, Tuasman. |
The Manager (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, August 9, 2009 - 07:49 pm New question. Okay people age right? So does that mean your unemployed workers diminish to replace the workers that get retired? |
Tuasman (Golden Rainbow) | Sunday, August 9, 2009 - 08:05 pm I think thats how it would work. makes sense anyway. |
The Manager (Kebir Blue) | Sunday, August 9, 2009 - 08:18 pm So decreasing total education priority increase the workers recruited? |
Tuasman (Golden Rainbow) | Monday, August 10, 2009 - 07:15 am hmm i dont think so, education priority just determines how many of each worker type your education system will concentrate on. So that 30k or so workers u get each month (or whatever u get) the higher the priority the more of that type u get. |
CraftyCockney (Kebir Blue) | Monday, August 10, 2009 - 08:29 am Manager, having a quick look at your country I would recommend a couple of options: 1) Close 'Husson Vegetables' (this type of corp is not going to make you good money) and the laid off workers will fill your small shortages. Or... 2) Buy 1 million population (gold coins, cash market). A must is to TOTAL your education priorities to 120, with higher numbers for the type of worker you need most, check a top country for how they arrange theirs. If you continue getting shortages of low, medium or high level workers (whose priorities you can't change) then you can always educate more low level/medium level managers, nurses or teachers (these grow relatively quickly) and then convert them into the menial worker types, (only as a temporary fix as it can nerf your age groups too). Your education index is probably a bit high at 200 for the size of your population too, so dont grow it any more. All in all it looks like you are on the right track, good luck (and buy 1 million people!). Hope that helps. CraftyCockney. |
