Kiteless (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - 08:14 pm I have workers available and some corps are not running at 100%. I saved the figures from last month and compared them to the following month. Hardly any change. The corporations that are short on workers aren't even those with the lowest salaries which I find baffling and welfare is set to 80% (102 Index). The area I am the shortest in is HLW's but I have enough to instantly cut unemployment by over half and with a new batch of HLW's next month I could return to full production quickly, but they won't go to work, so I won't get a new batch of HLW's next month but I will get another large number of LLW's which are of no use to me. I have to keep posting in the LU forum hoping for a worker exchange so that I can be rid of some. ARGH This f***ing game drives me up the wall. Anyone got any thoughts or solutions? If not, then goodbye country. I really can't be arsed anymore. |
Maxwell 'Danger' Powers (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - 10:33 pm It is possible that the cause is upgrading corporations. When a corporation is upgraded, the ratio of high level to low level workers required increases. Thus, high level workers are being employed, but because the number of high level workers required is increasing at roughly the same rate, the number does not seem to change, even though some are being employed. I had the same thing with high tech seniors and executives when i was building corps intensive in those worker types. Once the upgrading finishes the problem will fix itself. If youre worried, you can turn off automatic upgrades temporarily. I hope that helps. |
Kiteless (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 04:21 pm Thanks Maxwell I think upgrading new corps is playing a part in this, but I think it's mostly to do with high government salaries that I inherited. However, these are falling now. I'll leave upgrades on for the time being and see how it goes. |
