Andrews Munoz (Little Upsilon) | Monday, January 26, 2009 - 06:01 am I have some strategy corps, and i seem them always in debt and having loans all the time . any advise about how to manage those corps in a good way? thnks |
Jack Frost (Little Upsilon) | Monday, January 26, 2009 - 06:55 am they are always in debt for a reason. its not supposed to be easy to maintain a strategic program |
Treasurer (White Giant) | Monday, January 26, 2009 - 05:32 pm Nuke corps aren't built to turn a profit. They always find their way into debt IF you don't keep pumping cash into them. They are there to build and supply nukes to your countries. You will NEVER turn a steady profit with nuke corps. |
The Crafty Cockney (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, January 28, 2009 - 11:56 am Er, actually T...I do. A very small profit, just enough to pay for its self. Of course, the country is paying by purchasing the product, but then it does have the bombs... |
The Crafty Cockney (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, January 28, 2009 - 12:01 pm Although I well expect the imminent implementation of the "deterioration" of stock rule, where-by weapons stocked will become useless with time and so removed from your inventory. You read it here, remember... |
Treasurer (White Giant) | Wednesday, January 28, 2009 - 10:31 pm So your plutonium corps are making profits every month, eh? You have to remember what all goes into the final product and what it took to get those weapons and missiles. In general, the corps will need cash to stay afloat. |
The Crafty Cockney | Saturday, January 31, 2009 - 11:05 am OK, yeah, the plutonium is a bit difficult. Lol, when I first had world domination plans I bought loads of 333Q plutonium, ouch, that cost. Space Monkeys are much more cost effective. |
Treasurer (White Giant) | Monday, February 2, 2009 - 04:18 pm Yeah you have to factor in all costs associated with the production of each Nuke. Plutonium counts too. LOL. That is why they are ALL money pits. |
Ron Samuels (Golden Rainbow) | Sunday, April 12, 2009 - 12:54 am I haven't tried the strategic game at all yet. Do I have it figured correctly you can't buy sell products except to your own countries? Can you sell them in your federation? |
Dr.Anthrax (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, April 12, 2009 - 01:15 am you can sell them to anybody but only directly or by a contract..just not the world market. |
SolidSamurai (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 11, 2010 - 08:27 am Tell the corp to sell higher and then contract production to your own country. I think then, in the contract itself, it will show market price but sell at the price it was assigned to sell at in accordance to its trade strategy. Same goes for plutonium and other raw materials - just tell it to sell its product to enough local nuclear corps to meet quota (or lower quota by lowering hiring and/or salaries). Of course, this also drives up the price of the nuclear corp even higher and raises costs for your country. I could be wrong about all this. But the alternative - to actually make money selling nuclear stuff, is to contract it to other players. Doing it with slaves probably results in the greater over all cost impact on the empire. |
