Thursday, January 15, 2009 - 07:10 pm Hush. not everyone wants to be in a fed. This help section is for the loners and people that are beginners that need quick answers. And it isn't politically motivated advice.
| |
Friday, January 16, 2009 - 06:38 am And your federation is only for Little Upsilon. Not everyone necessarily wants to go there, and not everyone necessarily wants to start over there. Also, Help thread shouldn't be a federation recruitment forum.

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 04:54 pm I must agree with Q and T on this matter. The help thread is the place to ask a question and hope someone has an answer that is online or they can atleast head you in the right direction. With Regards, Dragoon

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 05:01 pm Lol T, don't tell me to hush, I am not a five year old. I apologize if I over stepped the boundaries of my propaganda, it's just that I have had some success at recruiting several off worlders so I was motivated to advertise here. I understand your point though as far as this section being for loners and quick answers. I didn't mean that this forum doesn't need to exist in a bad way, that was just my selling pitch. Q, what's given you such a big opinion lately little britches? You stuck your nose into my business in another forum too. Funny coming from a fellow that practically begged me to do what I could to prevent Wendy from attacking you on GR. Now you've rubbed shoulders with a couple of vets and think you're all that, too bad Isn't two posts enough Jack? Is it just that you guys want to see your names in the forum? Why not just answers some of these peoples questions while you're here instead of expressing the same opinion three different times here?

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 05:29 pm Tattooed Priest you will find my name in this thread quite a bit as I do offer new players and even more experienced players advice at times. With Regards, Dragoon

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 05:53 pm tattooed priest i understand you want to advertise for your federation but sometimes it might do more harm than good with your more aggressive sales pitches.

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 07:33 pm ok i have a question.which of all Seven nation Army federations is the most powerfull and agressive in LU?

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 10:34 pm TP, I said hush to your statement that this particular forum isn't needed. It actually is. I hope that it stays because many new players find their quick answers here in this particular forum. Most of the players know I check this forum for people needing help and they know they can rely on me and some others that regularly post answers for them. I don't mind your advertising for recruitment but this just wasn't the forum for it. I don't want to see the help section disappear. Everyone needs help, young and old alike from time to time. It just sounded to me that you would prefer that all players get their advice within their respective federations regardless if that was your intention or not. I think all information, tips, hints, etc., should be open and free to all players. Again these are just opinions of a single player here and not necessarily those of W3C Creative.

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 10:50 pm I can only voice my own thoughts - I find this particular forum a very helpful resource for sound advice and tips - and not just those posted in my own threads. I wouldn't like to see it disappear.

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 11:08 pm I think you are all over-complicating this. I don't think TP really meant this forum wasn't needed. He was just using that as a pitch. Fault him for using the wrong venue (spamming) but don't take the message so literally. TP, next time you should use more smileys. They have a calming affect on people and expose the subtlety of jovial comments. You'll receive less negative replies because everybody loves a well placed smiley. BC

Friday, January 16, 2009 - 11:34 pm And my hush was playful btw. , there. that's for both of you.

Saturday, January 17, 2009 - 12:11 am And now I can only think happy thoughts. Use and abuse this to your advantage. BC

Saturday, January 17, 2009 - 06:33 pm yeah, and TP, can you do something about that ink cartridge, its all coming out sicky green

Sunday, January 18, 2009 - 06:33 am TP, it seems my opinion is shared by several veterans of SC. I should be able to express mine just as freely as they did. I won't make the mistake of asking you for assistance again, I apologize. Its not that I can't fight Wendy off, its that I don't desire a war period with her. I had asked you, as a well-respected member of Golden Rainbow, for the assistance in mediation in avoiding a conflict with her (and at the time, she was a member of your federation). I think very highly of you and what you've accomplished with Seven Nation Army. Its a remarkable achievement. I just feel this isn't the forum for recruiting for federations. I also agree with T's view of this forum. Q

Sunday, January 18, 2009 - 10:58 pm Jeezus, who cares? If players need help, Priest has proven that he is willing to give it. He is among the most helpful players in the game. He is the reason why I decided to keep playing, and I'm sure many other players can say the same thing. @ Q I understand that you hold the same opinion on many issues that other veterans of simcountry hold. However, do not come crying to players such as Priest for help and then immediately post against him in the forum. While the veteran players may have your back, you play on Golden Rainbow, where very few powerful empires exist that are interested in protecting you. Being active on the forum is perfectly fine, and I encourage you to feel free to say whatever you want. Just do not complain when people take offense to your remarks and declare on you.

Sunday, January 18, 2009 - 11:02 pm As clarification, I do not mean myself, but players such as Wendy.

Monday, January 19, 2009 - 05:50 am Oh comeon, get off her man-hood. I'm sure TP was being playful in his efforts to round up some n00blets. I'm sure he didn't really take any offense to any of this. I just didn't want Tom/Jozi to get any bright ideas of taking away the help section. We have seen their bright ideas lately, and have suffered as a result. (profits)

Monday, January 19, 2009 - 09:48 am EO, if you notice, I have no problems with TP, and I have alot of respect for him. I shouldn't have to agree with someone 100% of the time, even if I seek their assistance. If someone is wrong with something, I should be able to tell them that, even if they are a friend or ally or whatever. I would expect others to do the same to me. Q

Saturday, January 31, 2009 - 08:05 am I have a quick question. Can I search the forum for a topic that has no doubt been covered, rather than be the one millionth person to ask for help on taking their first C3? It's a scale thing really. In a game that gives 100B away every day or so as a starters bonus, is 5000 tanks and artillery a lot or not? Dex.

Monday, February 2, 2009 - 03:53 pm Yes, look to the left here and you will see under the "Utilities" section a link for "KEYWORD SEARCH". You can put in what you are looking for and which forum to search. Fiddle around with it on different subjects. The only drawback is that posts over 6 months old are automatically deleted because the GM's don't want old information coming back to haunt them later on. Anyways, I found a thread you might be interested for c3 taking.... https://www.simcountry.com/discus/messages/6/10617.html? Good luck. T.
