d john corva (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - 07:47 am been starting to buildup military now that i've got everything else for level 6, the next 5000 mibs have hardly budged the index, while military costs jumped 20%. anyone know if this is normal? |
coolwind (Golden Rainbow) | Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - 12:26 pm it took nearly 12 game months for me to get to level 3 with 19,500 MIBs. The last 2 points I needed took ages to come LOL. it does take it's time John |
Nikos (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - 12:44 pm I also think that the military indexes are moving indexes, so they will advance all the more slowly. |
ManseEverard (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - 04:33 pm are Missle interceptor batteries the most economical way of increasing defensive index? |
coolwind (Golden Rainbow) | Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - 06:36 pm yup around 12.7B a point, which is approx 230 MIBs. each one carries 5 soldiers and 2 officers. baes are around 4B a point but takes up a hell of a lot of manpower. You buy 5 bases to get a point and each one carries 2400 solciers and 480 officers |
d john corva (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - 07:45 pm hmmm, that's strange though to get to level 3 it took that long. from level 4 to 5 (def level 75 to 150) it was real quick, just had to buy 20,000 MIBs. |
quaxocal | Thursday, November 20, 2008 - 04:25 am level 4 is defensive index 100 level 5 is defense index 100 (defensive * 2 + offensive + strategic)/4 level 6 is defense index 250 |
Vengent (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, November 26, 2008 - 07:37 pm approximately how many mibs is that for 250? Or 500 since you need 2 countries for level 6. |
coolwind (Golden Rainbow) | Wednesday, November 26, 2008 - 07:39 pm you need 230 MIBs per point |
Octavian Caesar (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, November 26, 2008 - 08:28 pm For level 6 you need 2 countries with 250 defence level? Is that correct? |
Sir Michael (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, November 26, 2008 - 08:36 pm Requirements for Level 6 Empire > 1 Country Average Population > 25 millions Average Health Index > 160 Average Education Index > 160 Average Defense Index (total) > 250* Average Transportations Index > 160 Average Employment level > 90% Average Financial Index > 120 One or two enterprises > 400 corporations total *Defense Index is 50% Defensive Force Index, 25% Offensive Force Index and 25% Strategic Force Index. |
Octavian Caesar (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, November 27, 2008 - 12:49 am Im glad I found that out, was going to build up all the indexs first then take a slave at the last. Thanks |
Vengent (Little Upsilon) | Friday, November 28, 2008 - 02:16 am >>>Im glad I found that out, was going to build up all the indexs first then take a slave at the last. Thanks Ya, tried that the first time, that slave nuked all the indexes. Then couldn't get finance index high enough while supporting that much defense budget. About ready for a second try. I'm not sure that's enough mibs though, I had 110k and didn't get near enough (maybe just not enough time). 230 * 500 = 115k. |
Charles III (Kebir Blue) | Friday, November 28, 2008 - 08:24 am The rolling average appears to take at least one game year, perhaps more to catch up. I am working towards level two, and have had enough weapons for 100% for about 3 real days now, and am projecting to get over 100% this evening or tomorrow morning (at 96% now.) |
coolwind (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, November 28, 2008 - 06:45 pm just be patient Charles, it'll get there |
Charles III (Kebir Blue) | Friday, November 28, 2008 - 07:12 pm Actually, my post was meant to be in reply to Vengents last sentence... For me, things are going exactly as planed :-) |
quaxocal (Golden Rainbow) | Wednesday, December 17, 2008 - 07:33 am For level 6, you need approximately 110K MIB's per country (2+ countries). I personally, advise having a bit more to get the index up faster. I don't know why everyone is so focused on having the "exact" amount, and then complaining when the index takes forever. Its because the index is computed as 4 X current index + new index, all divided by 5. This means, that it will take awhile to catch up. For Defense Index, it is even worse, because its computed off the already lagging defensive index, and it lags itself. |
Alexander Platypus (Little Upsilon) | Monday, January 12, 2009 - 12:47 am if i am trying to move my Defense Index from around 50 to 100, how many Missile Interceptor Batteries do i need to buy? someone told me just 11,000 but that does *not* seem even remotely close to being sufficient. |
Jack Frost | Monday, January 12, 2009 - 01:31 am Trust me it will do the trick. If you buy 11k and its not quite there it wont hurt to buy a few more. |
